From London to Wales ............???????? We married in 2012, and celebrated our 8th anniversary yesterday. My darling wife is as beautiful and caring as ever, even though we're both 72 now, our love never ever died. I'm such a lucky man. Luckier than I ever had any expectation of being.

This song is some grade A schmaltz with cheese on top, but Scott Walker’s voice is so good that he makes it work. The dude could sing the telephone book and people would listen. I am glad someone like Robert Goulet or Wayne Newton never got ahold of this song.😊
This song and especially Chad and Jeremy's Summer Song along with so many other love songs of the 60s brings back cherished memories of my first love when I was 14 years old! She lived in Wisconson and I in Illinois. She would visit her grandmother for a couple weeks during summer vacation and I met her while hanging out with my closest friend who lived next door to her grandmother. It was infatuation right off the bat. I couldn't wait till summer those 2 years to see Adrienne (Andy). Then my mom moved out of the city and we lost touch with each other. That was over 50 years ago! My life continued forward but I kept thinking about her, I felt we were soul mates as years went on. I had a family and it's been a long bumpy road. Hasnt been a time I dont periodically think of her, wondering how she is, where she is and if shes had a happy life. Mostly wonder if she Ever thinks of me and our times way back then,,. Unable to get letters in or out much. I married another after 4 years. He came home. I have been married 59 years. He married 4 times. Both just never got over our first love.
