After he thought about his actions while sentenced to the spirit realm timeout corner, he processed everything and came to terms with it all (and that you can respect someone even when you don't like them because they won)
Heya mate! Keep up with the good work, Kung Fu Panda series has been a huge part of my childhood, and It's cool to see another person who doesn't think that the third movie is terrible. This video entertained me so bad for 1whole hour(which is surprising cause I normally can't focus that many minutes on just one video), and now I'm going back to watching all of these movies over again. I greatly respect you saying that it's cool to just have fun watching a movie. Sure, I too love it when a movie has a deep story with thematic connections and whatnot, but I also love it when a movie is just fun. Movies are a form of entertainment after all. An example of this for me is the Michael Bay Transformers movies. Even though all the movies have their own share of problems, I like them because I can have fun watching them. I like seeing cool CGI robots duke it out and hearing great music and sound design. Cars 2 is another example. Even though it definitely isn't Pixar's best, I'd say it's among one of the most fun Pixar movies to watch. Sometimes a movie being simple and fun is enough.
Saying these movies have interesting lore and not discussing it is misleading. Then saying, it's just a movie, I really enjoyed it, etc. isn't analyzing, it's reviewing. I've seen many analysis videos about franchises and most of time those guys spend at least 30-60 minutes per movie, not 66 minutes for an entire franchise. You didn't analyze anything here; It was all basic plot synopsis and your surface-level opinion. Please don't say say you're "overanalyzing" something unless you actually are. If you want to compile reviews into a longer video, then say so in your title. Don't misrepresent reviews to get extra clicks. Perhaps you think a long review video counts as analysis but it doesn't. Consider making a true analysis video with deep lore dives and character studies someday, then the title will make sense.
I think people really overreaced to Kung Fu Panda 4. It's really the worse and it really did many things wrong, but it's not offensively bad, just kinda generic and desapointing, but only in a comedy sense, i kinda like it a a lot. When the movie starts and i see the thing of "new dragon warrior" and the Fox girl, i was afraid that they would do that terrible thing of "this new character is the new protagonist, and we gona make you like it by making the original protagonista incompetent!" but Poh didn't become useless to have her save him and actually defeated her and the villain of the movie with her help, so in the end. That fine for me. I also don't think they should do a sequel for this one. The frachise is call "Kung Fu PANDA", nothing screams more cash grab than remove the Panda and give full spotlight for a younger new character. If they want to milk this frachise more (what of course they do) i think exploring the Furious Five and the adventures of Poh as dragon warrior whould be the way to go. Don't risk ruining a perfect trilogy and character arc just to continue to farm money from this franchise.

And no, a 2 minute tier list is not analysis either. I have nothing against the content, just not for me, but I do not like the lying in the title.
He clearly finds more enjoyment from humor and good feels vs tightly woven narratives so he probably hangs around similar crowds. Unfortunately, average moviegoers think analyzing a “kids movie” AT ALL is too much, so for someone who doesn’t hang around neurodivergents with writing and cinema as special interests (me) this probably is what over analyzing looks like to him. Obviously no bashing, but yeah, as someone who intensely loves movies I’m pretty disappointed that this was more of a summary video than a critical or in depth analysis
