The flashes and tear gas were to either prevent them from going a certain wait and to move them where the officers wanted them obviously. These people acted amazingly, even with a few bottles thrown. I understand protesting but it seems more worth it to protest and go back for curfew so you can come back out to protest the next day until curfew again. Every phone cam shows a very different picture then what the media is trying to show. I had to pick up a friend stranded in Philly after curfew at 8:30pm yesterday, she was crying saying someone got shot by a rioter next to her. Driving through the city was scary as hell and violent, people hurting people for no reason, looking to start fights. No cops around people driving 120 mph almost hitting me, stolen cars it was chaos. two guys said “yo we could run a train”, thinking about raping the girl just before I picked her up because the police can’t do anything about it. and then finally I saw police lights and never felt so grateful to see police in my life.
