just a kind reminder, we will be getting the second area soon-ish, and any gear farmed now will not be as useful as a mythic T2 gear. trying to farm for uniques is valid, but for gear in general, i wouldn't recommend until the big update drops. unless you want to have a medium gear set ready for the archer
I have an unique Epic Relic item named "Sentry Eye" which gives "+16% Mythic Items". It's bound to Nixi for me now. I've not done many runs specifically to farm items but this is very nice when I do.
I have it, but I need the relic slot for the cool off effect
Very similar to the setup i ran and posted in discord
slight variation that i have is no jackrabbit, i run a priest knife that hits the attack speed cap for weapons (0.32) that rolled with spell area and spell damage + attack speed
i run a poison nova belt
have 119% luck just from gear
+the 12% master offer head and master + luck amulet
with Winter + Mort + Time
with Times dash instead of Life Link
Idea is to suck everything in with vortex + the huge spell area thanks to Wintertide, proc freeze by leaving auto attack on with freeze ring, poison nova will kill everything in the vortex
its slightly less kills, but all the loot is condensed on screen instead of having a chance to drop off screen when lifelink randomly zaps enemies 2 screens away
I need a poison nova item for nixi to drop lol. Sounds like a fun auto attack version instead of this shrine abuse version
I feel like Time/Mort/Winter Merris does this better, unless luck also factors into gear generation? You're going to get nearly 2x the levels with Merris and faster so your build is basically complete by the time you hit the 2nd slime wave. With Gem High you're moving just as fast, and you can wear dash boots if you feel like you need a 2nd dash, (I think it's actually faster just to run, since lifelink actually slows you down a bit). The only downside is that you can miss gear drops because you're killing so much off-screen and there's so many projectiles on the screen during the slime/skelleton waves that you have a hard time seeing anything. (I use the mini map to orient myself and navigate to shrines during the skeleton wave in particular).
I usually hit 150% luck with Merris by minute 12, if I roll into master Serendipity, otherwise it's 120ish, and close to 200 by the end of the run. Plus, you can basically do this semi-afk, it's insanely easy, you just walk around with auto attacks on once you get Gem High.
Possibly, Merris is definitely able to do it without specific gear. I prefer Nixi, but it's probably close enough that it doesn't really matter.
Also, This Nixi build doesn't need Gem High to do what it did here is the main difference.
@@gamingwithjeff Nixi is definitely more fun/engaging to play. Hard to argue against killing something like 4x as many mobs and thus getting (presumably) 4x as many drops, though. I don't think the difference is actually that pronounced since most of the mobs Merris is killing more of are basic slimes and skeletons with an extremely low drop rate and it's possible that luck has an impact on gear quality. Nixi will certainly have higher luck with the same gear as Merris.
Anecdotally I'm 36h of playtime, and generally I get 12-15 mythic drops in a Merris run with 1 unique. In an average run I'm ending around lvl 60 with 15k kills, but if you get lucky and get warped strike, execution, gem high and wisdom all in the first few levels it can get pretty disgusting. My best run was lvl 82 and 29.5k kills. The main advantage for me is that you can watch a movie while playing Merris. Still looking for a few uniques, like Equilibrium and Jackrabbit and better mythics for the other characters.
The grind for items should really be updated. 150 hours and no jackrabbit or the unique for avaron that goes well with consecration
That sucks, it should only be mythic uniques that are that ridiculously rare imo.

It can go faster, but it requires hitting the extra dash legendary to trigger Jackrabbit more times in a row lol
Man, I'd love to see the same but with Leigong instead of, say, Winter. Just pump the speed up into impossible levels of absurdity with lightning bolt included. Also obvious chain lightning/serendipity ofc
I'd argue that version is a LOT stronger. Chain lightning actually doesn't do anything because of how rarely we attack......but lightning bolt. Top dps
Thanks for all the nice builds! Since I'm busy right now, I'll check later. But do you have your favorite builds in a little guide or something like that on your discord channel by any chance? Would be nice to look up essential items and blessings for specific builds after having forgotten half of what you said on your RUclips videos. Old brains like mine start to work slower and slower :-D

Besides the Healing sword Avoron gets its the most game changing unique that I've seen.

I have almost the exact same build. Except I have like 37 luck before entering the trial and my belt has poison nova. Which goes hard btw if you ever wana give that a whirl. Any attack on dash item skill would work honestly, the synergy is ridiculous
I've yet to find a non relic on dash item that nixi can equip 😭 180 hours

Would it make sense for the last god to be Lightning, since you're moving so fast you can get free lightning bolts almost constantly?

any tips on finding the jack weapon? and can u explain the luck stat? the game description isnt too clear
Just win as many runs as you can on d30 eventually it will drop, don't try and shop farm for it.
As for luck, it increases the % chance of any effect that has a % chance. For example cool off has a 10% chance to activate. With 100% luck cool off now has a 200% chance to activate, and so on. Now there *may* be certain skills/effects with slightly different coefficients so its not as simple as 100% means double but I can't confirm that.

I don't think frozen treasure does what you think it does.
I think it does do what he think it does.
I guess you think it means that there is a higher chances that enemies drop hearts and stuff like that.
BUT I have a Unique relic that specifically refers to gear as "items" in it's tooltip. It says "Gives +16% more Mythic ITEMS". It would be strange if they used the same terminology of "items" to mean different things in 2 parts of the game (blessings and gear).
@@paulos9900 You guess wrong, I dont think that at all. Frozen Treasure states "When you kill a Frozen or Chill IMMUNE enemy, there is a higher chance that it drops an item.
You know, you could just say what you mean - it seems like you're still confused. Frozen or Chill immune seems to mean frozen or recently frozen. There's a period after an enemy loses freeze status where they still have ice on them and are unable to recieve chill stacks. That's the "chill immune" status.
