I drove my Dad's 69 six, 3 on the tree in high school and am still driving the 72 C 10 Cheyenne that I bought new in Oct 71. It has never missed a year on the road in the last 52 years. All original and so glad that I kept it. I let some great cars go in all those years. Great looking trucks in the vid!!
Outstanding! I love the trucks, but the stories and memories that come with them are what it's all about. I'm glad you kept your new ride all of these years! Nothing like a 52 year old one owner!
I have to agree that Grey and white C10 is one awesome truck. I've got a question. Any idea where l might find a door for the under the bed storage box on camper special and like that hopefully just the door and latch. please and thank you.
@@C10TruckNerd lve just about decided to go with a 2nd generation dodge 1500 fuel door I like the market light setup but l just can't seem to get it to close right
Again your super lucky you buy the C-10 s almost rust free. Awesome video makes me want to miss my 72 but O well FML LOL. Be standing by for the next video.
Hey Andrew! There is quite a few differences. The front suspension can be robbed from a square to be put onto 67-70s for 5 lug discs, but that’s about it. The frames are are longer in 73 and up, transmission crossmembers, cab mounts, rear of frame rises are different as well. 73 and up were leaf and steering components are different too. It definitely can be done though.
Hi chad I need technical support I have a 71 c10 I Bought a cluster I connect the wires i’m having problems with the harness connector I think that’s the problem because my truck did not came with 5 rpm with tachometer and the other gauges without vacuum I don’t know what to do let me know thank you

Way to go Chad! That grey/white C10 was fire
Thank you! That truck has always been my favorite. My buddy Doug knocked it out of the park building that one.
That was almost, nearly but not the same as being there. Totally awesome.
Thank you! I wanted to give folks a look through my eyes of what Nationals has to offer. It was well worth going except the near heat stroke! Lol
Great coverage Chad 👍 so many cool trucks.
You bet! I really had a good time meeting so many great folks and the trucks were excellent!
I was sad I couldn't attend in Salt Lake, but thank you for the tour.
You bet! Thanks for tagging along!
Awesome video! I will definitely be going back next year!
Thanks buddy! I hope to make it back as well.

I haven’t been able to source anything worth saving. They are going for crazy money since they don’t repop them. I’ll let you know if I see one soon.

Hi Chad.
Question: do you know what it would take to swap the 67-72 C10 body onto a 73-87 chassis?
Thanks
Andrew in Omaha.

Is the issue non of the gauges are working? i.e. tach, temp etc
