Lan Xang is the country of a million elephants. Can't have other elephant countries unless you are their master, thus I propose that you try to have both Ayutthaya and Dahomey as your vassals.
As lan Xang either Speedrun for Siam and showcase the siamese mission tree for the first time or "destroy" all the starting tributarie leaders (Ming ,Ava and majapahit if they are still alive) (and to destroy them u need to have their capitals and they cannot have any tributaries)
Never caught the speed5 streams but have watched all the videos on youtube. Loved it so far and am sure the final is going to be fire, maybe will be able to catch it this time.
Fun video. Really drunk right now so I'm going to watch it again sober tomorrow. As someone who only has rice in their fridge to eat after drinking, I call it a success. Also, Red Hawk looks like someone who would halt the conquest of the world if one of his conquered provinces didn't have enough to eat. ten out of ten would throw in my hat, and take up a rifle to have Red Hawk lead the world as supreme leader. Also, as someone who plays Civ, SE Asia in EU IV seems way more interesting than it is in Civ
If you continue this Lan Na/Siam campaign you could go on to try and conquer every grain producing province in the regions of Burma, Malaya, Indonesia, and Moluccas. Just a silly, thematic suggestion.
Watching again now that I've sobered up. Another excellent video from Red Hawk. A lot easier to follow if you haven't been drinking. I gotta say, SE Asia really is more interesting in EU 4 from the looks of things because you just get the Khmer civilization (not playable of course but just there for extra flavor) and even though they're just as unique as all the playable nations, they never stick around past the renaissance. This is honestly what it should feel like. Even better knowing we're getting two back to back in the same region.
Did you accidentally leak the result of the Chewy vs Zlewikk matchup? (for context, the makeup of the finale is revealed at 2:14, which implies who won today's match)
Ming canceled your tributary status because you were eating other tributaries and they don't like you (low trust probably). It's happened to me a few times while playing in this area.
Hey man, there is some chance to make some funny relaxed campaign next time? Like the firsts ones of the series? I really miss those kind of playthroughs. Not bankruptcy but at least some internal conflicts would be nice.
I went blind into a Lan Na play through. Me and Khmer were friends. Vassalized the brown nation above them and the blue nation boarderinf Lan xang and Ming. Ate off Lan xang then jumped them and dai viet with Khmer. The. Khmer betrayed me, broke alliance, allied Ming and every small group around me. That’s where I am now. I’ve got 51k armies but they’re miltech is higher and Ming only has 16k right now but I have no Allie’s to help in the wars
The only thing I don’t like about playing Ayutthaya is their sprites. But playing in their area they’re wannabe bullies who have an unlimited amount men to be killed.
Lan Xang = Lan X Ang = Lan X Eng = EngLan You should win a war (like get at least 1% warscore) against England/GB. Don't be afraid, you did way tougher challenges when you started the series

I think Ayutthaya subject is quite difficult starting
Missed the opportunity to turn into colonial empire of Lan Na, colonize Mexico and name the colony Lan Na del Rey.
I have my next EU4 campaign...
Or take Rhodes and...
sorry I don't get the joke
Lan Na Rhodes :)
Playing video games...

I’d love to see a continuation of this run, I find this area of the world really interesting

as lan xang, get big and take the mandate of heaven.
classic campaign, no restrictions, take what you want and be powerful

I'd love to see you continue this game and see how big you can grow them.
Siam with Aristocratic, espionage and horde ideas is completely broken powerful, do reccomend!
I love how he is pretensding to be playing different nation every time but we all know that he is playingbthe same nation called P A I N
As a vietnamese, it's really sad for me that he went Lanna, Khmer and Ayutthaya all the way, but Dai Viet is left alone =((
one day
Ming: ally Ayuthaya
Red Hawk: So you've chosen death.
Dude I laughed so hard when I saw the thumbnail. Someone should make a mod out of that for asian countrys
Two videos per 3 days. You are fast :)
I love speed5 thanks for casting for them 🙏
Actual, literal breadtube

I've just realised how good Siamese ideas are for hordes.
Ft. Filthy Frank on the thumbnail. Love it
Now Siam is where the ideas are at!
frankly amazing thumbnail

Obviously next time you need to beat up and eat Lan Na immediately. Past that, idk.
I'm just hoping we can get Leinster on Friday for St. Patrick's Day

didn't even know Lan Na is that hard
Imagine being so bad, you lose the emerald buddha tsk tsk.

Best EU4 player ever
How about you play as ming next? I've never seen anybody play that nation and succeed with that mandate of heaven stuff!
I've never wondered, but how many hours do you have in eu4 ? :)

Nice thumbail
i think sukhothai is harder because you cant get independence without fighting ming
As lan Xang conquer Botswana it has the most elephants and lan Xang is the land of a million elephants, also colonial southeast Asia is based
Botswana in eu4 is part of the kalahari desert wasteland tho
