I have been doing this every morning for a couple months and oh my goodness!!! It is so relaxing and I look forward to it everyday. ☺️ There's no peace like the peace you get with Jesus. 🩵
Its refreshing to see a young mother keep to a routine with their kids. You are doing a beautiful job it seems. When my kids were young we had routines and bed times and such.....made our lives so much easier. Great job.
I wake up early before my kids to wake up with a cup of coffee pray listen to daily devotional from the Bible. I put milk in my eggs too! We hone school too. My oldest is 15 and does an online program and my other son which is 9 has ABA therapist 30 hours a week to help with his nonverbal autism. Then I homeschool him on his level. Your doing a great job! 🦋
Its plain to see just how much you love your beautiful children, making sure breakfast was ready as soon as your boys came through the door, your commitment to homeschooling and keeping a super clean home. Thanks so much for letting us in to take a glimpse Kelly. 🦋🦋🦋
My youngest is a junior this year. I feel so nostalgic for the days when they were all little and we cozied up with books on the couch. Thankfully I’ve got 5 grandkids and I get to help with them! 🦋🎃
I think this is supposed to be the last week of the 80s and 90s and then next week in the 70s. At least that is what the weather channel says. Home schooling isnt for everyone. I was going to this year but my daughters dad was pitching a fit so she went back to public school. All of those clothes from Halara are sooo cute. And bella stopped napping all together by the time she was 2. I was sooo frustrated because being a single mom her nap time was the only time I got anything done. Now she is in school. First grade and I just do it while she is at school.
Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this video. I agree with you and getting up before your kiddos. I'm not a morning person at all. I love when I can lay down the kids at night and then I can get a lot of my cleaning done. Because I have seven kids, it just way easier for me. Although the downfall is that I'm going to bed later and then not getting enough sleep. I like the structure of when the kids go back to school, because I'm able to get up in the morning take them to school then come back and be able to tackle those chores that I need to do. With only having two little ones at home it's a lot easier. I do absolutely feel more productive, getting up early. I do put milk in my eggs ☺️. My kids do take naps time to time. Thanks again for sharing. Have a fantastic week. Much💜 🦋🦋🦋🦋
I’ve been watching some of your older videos from when you renovated your current home. They came up in my suggested feed at the end of your current videos. I had no idea you had done so much work and renovated before! Holy cow! I’m enjoying your past and present Reno’s at the same time. You’re such a talented hardworking momma! 🇨🇦🦋
Hi Kelly, today's video was nice. Having someone remind us that we need to look out for ourselves before we can take care of our families is important. I think we tend to forget that. Have a great week! 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I used to put milk in my eggs, now I put water in them. They come out fluffy and lighter in density. You're a great mom, love your videos. Have a great week!
Homeschool preschool is so much fun. I like your color sorting game. My three year old loves homeschool preschool, and loves being with mama. He is so social able too which I guess some parents are afraid of. He still naps too.
On school mornings I like to wake up before the kids too, seriously so much better and more productive that way :) and such a nice way to start my morning, with peace and quiet and coffee ❤ 🦋
Kelly, you truly are an amazing women, you do so much for your kids and mom, your fixing up your house and still doing your daily routine and you always have a calmness about you, plus your always so chill. Applause to you. Thank you for sharing your life with us! Your an inspiration to all 😊🦋
I love Rae's schooling. One way I tought my children their left from right was every time I put a sock/shoe or arm in a sleeve I said - sock in the right foot. Shoe on the left foot ect. They learned left from right quite quickly without knowing they were learning. 🦋❤🦋
Kelly, I’ve been watching you for years and you always motivate me and help me be an organized momma. I love seeing you and your babies grow everyday. ❤ 🦋
I found routines when I had children at home kept them on an even keel which kept me sane, kids thrive in routine. I would get up at 4 am (3 hours before my children), exercise, shower and get dressed and my little bit of makeup done, have my quiet time with God, then get the dishwasher unloaded and start on breakfast. I would wake the kids at 7am, put breakfast on the table, they would dress and brush their teeth, take care of the animals they begged for, make their beds while I cleaned up the breakfast mess and got schoolwork on the table. By 9 am it was the first subject of the day- Bible along with a quick devotional and discussion for an hour, then a half hour break before the next subject. Our homeschool routine was Bible everyday, Mondays was Reading and writing and spelling; Tuesdays was Math and Sciences and projects; Wednesdays was History, Living History and boom reports; Thursdays was Art, Music, Foreign Language and/or Sports. Each subject was an hour long with a half hour break between- Bible, half hour break, whichever subject for that day, then an hour for lunch and free play, then the next 2 subjects and hour each with a half hour break in between, then free play until dinner. So 9am Bible, 10-10:30 break, 10:30-11:30 next subject, 11:30-12:30 lunch, 12:30-1:30 next subject, 1:30-2:30 break, 3:00-4:00 last subject. Dinner was always 6 pm. We were off on Friday-Sunday. We schooled 4 weeks on, 1 week off pretty all year round, taking longer breaks for vacations and holidays. Every other week we did a co-op with other homeschool families on Friday’s where kids would get extra help or tutoring on difficult subjects, HomeEc and Auto and just socializing that fay for all of us, most times some dad’s would be there to help in the more difficult subjects they excelled or trained in, those could be the sciences (lots of nurses, doctors, astronomers, etc), mathematicians or finance focused, auto mechanics, electricians and plumbers, etc. The majority of the homeschool kids were taking college classes by the time they reached about age 15-16 or 9th-11th grade of public school. I loved it!
Hey Kelly, Happy Friday. When I have some editing to do, I like to do it during the weekend mornings. ❤ When I have kids I will make sure to wake up at least 30 minutes to an hour before they do just like my mom did me and my siblings when we were younger. ❤ I love how you have routines for your family, it helps establish a balanced home. ❤ no I don’t put milk in my eggs because I’m lactose intolerant now and I don’t really like the milk in my food unless I absolutely have to.
Thanks for sharing your morning routine. I totally agree with having time in the morning to myself. I grab my Bible, coffee and current Bible Study for the first hour and then I’m ready to start my day. 🦋🦋
Good Morning Kelly 🍁🌻I really enjoyed the video. Your daughter is adorable and so cute with her home school lessons. You really know how to get things done. Take care and have a wonderful day 🤗🍁🍂
🦋 So true that learning is all around us. I taught my kids how to buy groceries, how to bake, how to clean, how to order a meal, etc. Life skills that are so important. My kids stopped napping at about 18 months which was so trying. Hahahaha. Every once in a while they'd nap but that was maybe once every couple months. They did sleep through the night though.
I like the color sorting game. That's too cute! Love the cozy vibes! I try to wake up before my kids on weekends, but they all start waking up at 6 and I'm not one to get up at 5am on a Saturday. Lol 😅 We get up at 6 all week for school. Loved this video and seeing your routine.
Rae is so stinking cute!!! I do not put milk in with the eggs. It actually dilutes the flavor of the eggs. If you want to make delicious eggs cook them with salt and pepper in some butter. When they are almost done add just a little cream (or Greek full fat yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese) or you can add cream fraiche which is similar to sour cream. 🦋
I had 3sons nap time always at 2PM and 2PM grandsons usual they would nap 2 and a half hours or so. Really enjoyed video Ray is soooooo precious. Have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🙏❤🙏❤🙏
Hi Kelly I’m finally here before there’s 800 comments 😂. When you wake up early do you open up the curtain to let light in to help you wake up? I know Ray is in your room right now, so I’m wondering if you do that and if that wakes her up?
The curtains that are in my room are thin and white so light naturally shines thru them lol. I don’t even bother. However I will open the ones in the living room after I’ve had my coffee. Until my coffee is down, I’m a vampire 😂
@@KellysKorner08gotcha! I think I just need to force myself out of bed! We have blackout curtains so it’s dark for my one year old who is my room still. But if I crack them open it’s like bright light shining in.
I agree with the morning person. Only because I struggle to fall asleep at night. I wish I could sleep earlier, but my toddler doesn’t fall asleep right away.
Yes I do put milk in my scrambled eggs. The milk makes them so fluffy. I have also cut up a little bit of butter and cream cheese throw that into your whisked eggs then scramble them as usual and they are so delicious.
I had gotten that same matching book my boys love it so much I had to grab another so they could both have one. Eggs, I used to put milk in, until I found out my boys have dairy allergies. Honestly I like them both ways.
My almost 4 year old LOVES Ms. Rachel & Ms. Linky on you tube!!! She lays down everyday around 1. Some days she sleeps, sometimes not. I only let her sleep 30 minutes or bedtime @ 830 is hard. My 8 year old stopped napping about 5 I think. Love your videos & I will have to look at that workbook- love the velcro :)
I love to ease in to my day also. I don’t even want to talk to anyone but that doesn’t happen LOL. I have custody’s of four of my grandchildren. The youngest just turned nine and he and his 16yo brother both have developmental delays and autism. The 9yo wakes up around 415-5. I would love to get up before him, and have some quiet time but that doesn’t happen as this old girl has a hard time getting up at 4am. And he can’t be trusted alone for even a few minutes as he gets in to everything, including the freezer and fridge. And leaves the doors open to them. So staying in bed for a few extra minutes isn’t an option either. I know or at least I hope, this will will get better as he gets older so for the time being I get up with him. His 16yo brother use to be the same but he is able to get up on his own and get ready for the day.
I’m really impressed by your homeschooling style ❤️😀👍My kids are adults now so that’s way in the past for me. If I would have had some examples of homeschooling I might have tried it with my kids😊

Omg we always start with Mrs. Rachel as well. She is such a great teacher and my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter has learned so much with her help.

This our first year to home school we are loving it so far . I normally get up 5-530 to have time to Bible study my kids start awakening around 630 .
I do not add milk to my eggs, I actually found it works great to make them fluffy if you just add a little water and whisk well! 🦋🦋❤
