I wish there were a game in between Imperator: Rome and Crusader Kings 3 that can help bridge the gap to make the starting medieval situation in CK3 more authentic :(
@@user-yy5di3qg5useeing as how we entered a modern era and there hasn’t been a lot kg colonizing or wars changing borders a lot you can just say that the humans advanced into the space era before staring wars and expansion
This started off promising with the nice borders at the end of CK, the Roman Empire revival, etc etc but then they have to Hellenize and nothing happened in HoI4.
The conversion from eu4 to vic3 and from vic3 to hoi4 still isn't good enough. When u get to hoi4 its broken, no factions no war. But the convertor team are constantly working on it, so maybe someday! I'll keep trying every now and then
@@GeneralPol I think EU4 to Vic3 is good enough now. Of course it will break soon with 1.5 but even then I expect it'll be ready before the HoI4 one. The problem is that HoI4 relies so much on hand-crafted bits that procedurally generated stuff takes more work. But it will surely get there in time! Just a matter of how much time.
cool way to do it would be making the strongest nation at the end of hoi4 into a human stellaris empire in a normal galaxy so it makes more sense@@GeneralPol
Rather boring that Byziantium tagged into Greece and did nothing after that. Both the Hoi4 and Stellaris part were kinda stagnant and boring as well with almost no border changes. Sometimes the AI is just too dumb. Maybe do a megacampaign where one tag is given some bonuses and see if they can do world conquest-galactic conquest? Like an immortal leader in CK will help a lot since quite often large kingdoms and empires collapse when their leader dies. I say we look for the Emperor 20 thousands years early and see if he can unite the galaxy under the imperium of man!
I've never liked how the reconquista in CK has no impact on the culture of Iberia at all. Why would a resurgent Catholic power be 'Andalusian' or 'Andaluso-Baranis'? I wonder if there's a mod for this.
man, once the vassal swarms and federations are formed in stellaris it gets really stagnant, with empires just changing colors and basically no significant border movement. I was hoping that maybe the crisis could shake things up but the scourge got stomped immediately lol. Also we were so close to the roman empire! Cool campaign anyway.
Reccomendation, show the actual civic's of the country's at the beginning and end of the stellaris stuff, so we actually know what society ended up like for those countries.

General Pol, apart from the nice set of mods you've added to Imperator, have you considered adding the "responsible blobbing" mod (which is recommended by the creator of the converters) to EU4? Apart from that, he has updated the EU4 to Vic 3 converter. So maybe the time has come to stop converting into Vic2? Just some thoughts.
Yeah i'll have to try Vic3 again. I have got the responsible blobbing mod, just havent used it yet, Maybe for the next one I do, keep an eye out towards end of Dec!
Does Ck2 not work with these mega campaigns anymore? I find the complete solid state of nations in CK3 makes it very dull. in CK2 they broke up, and were far more volatile as they were irl, and was more reminiscent of realistic struggles, over CK3s. It also creates far more interesting outcomes. Especially if you consider the massive amount of depth CK2 has over CK3, with its holy war system, and more likely that that empires can break up into large kingdoms. Way more can happen due to there being so many more systems for the AI to play with.

vic3 is straight up worse than vic2 (specially for timelapse videos) since its less glitchy and has more complex populational and economic simulation
