@@GutierrezArtSci Same here, Working on my dissertation and was trying to make something presentable with powerpoint, for some reason powerpoint genuinely despises the thought of having everything spaced out in a consistent way so eventually I gave up and decided to just learn what the most common tool used in biological research is, your videos have saved me hours of trial and error with a brand new software
Thanks for this very nice tutorial. Another very useful application of the Scissors Tool is when making composite figures out of simple polygons. I often use that in combination with the Direct Selection Tool and the Join function to cut and combine simpler shapes into more complex ones. PS. The word you are looking for when talking about "aligned circles", is concentric! :-)
Thank you, Dr. Gutierrez! Much needed and far superior to the Adobe Illustrator tutorials to just get started. How you customize your template. Could you send me yours?
You are a lifesaver!!!! I'm writing up my dissertation right now and the figures in my intro were *terrible*. Thank you!!!
@@laurelregibeau6285 That’s great to hear! Please share when you’re finished. And future congrats, Doctor!
