Being the most replayed song in my LOTR lofi mix and also having multiple requests on it, I decided to make a quick 1 hour version of my "I See Fire" lofi cover that I did together with the awesome Less Gravity Hope you guys enjoy!

As someone who's been a hardcore LOTR fan since childhood, I was hesitant at first about listening to these "remixes" if you will. There's nothing better than the OG soundtrack. But, as of yesterday, I can't stop listening to these lofi's! Much respect to Chill Astronaut for reserving the integrity of a deeply beloved soundtrack while introducing a new and soothing way to listen to them.
Thank you so much for the kind words, it really means a lot to have the approval of such a hardcore fan!🙏🏻😇 I can totally understand why you would be hesitant to listen to covers because the original soundtrack is simply perfect - but I’m glad you gave me a chance!😇 And yeah, I know there are other producers who alter the ‘soul’ of the tracks more in their remixes but my aim is always to stay true to the original, while also turning them into a completely different genre, just like you mentioned🤝
I was the same. The LOTR remix from Chill are bloody awesome!
I really appreciate your compliment!🙏🏻😇
You have lots of talent! Always a pleasure listening to your work!
Thank you so much for the kind words!🙏🏻😇
I just finished rewatching the extended edition of LOTR!! Such great films and soundtracks
Definitely!🙌 Props for doing the extended versions, that’s the proper way🤝 I’m probably due for a rewatch too, it’s one of those comfort films that’s simply good for your soul, combined with the legendary soundtrack - I always get inspired for my lofi remixes😁
The best lofi music on youtube 🐉🔥!
Aww you’re far too kind, thank you!🙏🏻🥹🥹
Thank you for these peaceful vibes. Every note from the LOTR songs gives me chills and goosebumps. Always remember to "follow your nose when you are lost..."
Well said Ian, Howard Shore created a masterpiece with the LOTR soundtrack; I appreciate the complexits & tiny details even more as I pay close attention to them whenever I’m making these lofi beats🤝 Glad you enjoyed!🙏🏻
And such a nice quote!😇 Also remember that “not all those who wander are lost”✨
You should do combined sad movie theme songs playlist. Dumbledore's farewell, Gandalf's fall, Cedric's death, Farewell brother (GOT), Anakin's Betrayal etc. Would be a great sad lofi movie theme playlist centered around characters lost in movies. I sure there are many more to include.
Daaamn Ryan, that’s such a freaking cool idea!!🙌 Thanks a lot for the suggestion, I’m definitely doing it this year!🤝✌️
So happy you think so! I already have a personal playlist of those songs (non-lofi). I just found your music and love it! Listening to it all the time while working. Keep up the great work!@@ChillAstronaut
So I went through my catalogue and added all that might be a good fit, as well as others that I have on my to-do list; in total it’s literally 49 themes so I’ll definitely do some narrowing😂 But yeah, I’m excited to make this happen! I literally just finished a second/updated version for “Leaves From The Vine” so I’m still in that sad lofi mood haha😭😄
So cool! I didn't even think of "Leaves from the vine" but that would be an awesome addition. I hope it does well and gets lots of listens. I will personally be listening to it a ton once it is out. I'd love to hear the potential list of songs. Fortunately there are a ton of sad themes that are also bangers! One day I hope to write a scene deserving of a tear jerking sad theme like these.@@ChillAstronaut
Had to jump on my computer because it's a LONG list😂 Here's what I have right now, grouped by franchise; the normal text means it's done and I think is a good fit, the () means it's done but I'm unsure if it's a good fit, and the '--' in the beginning means I haven't done it yet but it's on my list and would probably be a good fit. With that said, I'm interested to hear your opinion on what should/shouldn't be there, I would totally take it into consideration since it seems like you're also a fan of the sad vibes😄
Gandalf's Fall
(The Breaking of the Fellowship)
Evenstar
The Destruction of the Ring
-- Faramir's Sacrifice
Dumbledore's Farewell
Lily's Theme
Farewell to Dobby
In Noctem
(Leta's Theme)
(Tribute) [it's from Hogwarts Legacy, it's coming on January 12th but you can already hear it on my HP lofi radio stream]
-- Godric's Hollow Graveyard
-- Death of Cedric
-- (Farewell Aragog)
-- Voldemort's End
-- Harry Surrenders
-- Sadness at Hogwarts (from James Hannigan, it's from one of the HP games)
Padmé's Destiny
Ahsoka
Anakin's Betrayal
-- Anakin's Dark Deeds
-- Jedy Eulogy
-- Burying The Dead
-- Dooku's Fall
-- Your Father Would Be Proud
Goodbye Brother
The Rains of Castamere
(Light of the Seven)
Jenny of Oldstones
Hodor
Winter Is Here
(Tomorrow I'll Leave Blaviken For Good)
-- The Law of Surprise
-- (Kaer Morhen)
Leaves From The Vine v2 (not released yet but done)
-- Service and Sacrifice
Davy Jones (will probably rework by then)
-- One Day (I'm probably mixing emotional with sad, but still)
Day One (Interstellar)
Final Ascent (James Bond)
Life and Death (from LOST, might do a quick remaster because it's really old but this song is the epitome of sad😭)
(The Batman)
Aaaand that's pretty much it, needless to say I won't be able to do all those -- / possible songs this year (while producing my usual stuff) so the list is going to be much shorter but yeah, hope you like this little sneak peek and I'm curious to hear your opinion!😁
I have to say these are the best LOTR music, and this version is easy my fav of all I have heard! keep up the great work mate
Thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot!🙏🏻🥹 And will do, more is always on the way!✨✌️
Thanks so much, bro. This fire, fr. Deserves a sub and like
Thank you so much, glad you enjoy!🙏🏻😇
I love your style of lofi, it is different from others and it is better. I love The Last Samurai soundtrack and lofi would match it so well. No one on youtube has made a decent lofi and I know you can. No pressure but the last samurai lofi would be so good.@@ChillAstronaut
found your channel last year...and been listening till now
That’s so awesome to hear, thank you for sticking around, means a lot to me!🙏🏻😇 Hope 2024 had a great start for you!🥳
@@ChillAstronaut you too 🤣
the "clack" beat kinda sounds like someone chopping wood. (which I think fits well with the alpine mountain vibe)
This is also one of my favorite chill beats from your channel! :)
So glad you like it!🙏🏻😇 This beat wouldn’t be the same without my friend Less Gravity✨
This is 🔥 I would love to hear some lofi beats from pirates of the Caribbean bet you'd do a mint job on them!
Edit. Never mind, just looked through your catalogue and you've done it already 👍😂
So glad you like it!🙏🏻 And yeah, a POTC album/mix is actually on my list for this year; I have 7 songs I’d like to do and even though I did 2 already as you mentioned, I’ll probably redo them because they are a bit old and I might be able to improve them/have a more cohesive overall vibe for the album✌️
@@ChillAstronaut looking forward to hearing them 🤘
FINALYYY!!!!! THANKS!!
Haha you’re welcome!🤝😇 For future reference, which other theme would you like to hear as a 1 hour version?
@@ChillAstronaut Thanks, 1 hour of Minas Tirith theme 🤔 and Rohan for the future plans
This goes so hard... In a chill way. Amazing work my friend, will definitely be having this one on repeat! Very nostalgic to me. :)
Wouldn’t be the same without my friend Less Gravity✨ Thank you Davis, means a lot!🙏🏻 Love your art!😇
Ah thanks so much!! ^_^ @@ChillAstronaut
Love your work! It's a joy to listen to.
Thank you so much, means the world to me!🙏🏻😇
Could u make Flaming Red Hair (from The Fellowship of the Ring) lofi cover? It will be awesome!! Love ur LORT lofi soooo much
100%, it’s on my list, I’ll totally do it this year!🙌 Thanks for the suggestion!🤝 And I’m so glad you enjoy the beats!😇
I love this track. The only critique I would offer would be removing the static effect, it disrupts the tranquility of the track. As someone who is hard of hearing, I find that the static interferes with immersion in the music. Other than that, this track is amazing!
Does anyone else hear the lyrics to 'Listen to Your Heart' listening to this? It's a very similar beat!
How about some Elder Scrolls lofi themes? Skyrim and Oblivion
Even though I haven’t played the games, I listened to the soundtrack and I looove it - so yeah, among other things a Skyrim album is in my plans for this year!✌️😁
@@ChillAstronaut wow I'm super excited for those. Your work is amazing!
Thanks for the kind words Michael, means a lot to me!🙏🏻😇
@@ChillAstronaut definitely check out Harvest Dawn, King and Country, and Watchman's Ease from Oblivion if you haven't heard them too 😁👌
Happy Tolkien Day!
Hold up, are you telling me I did a LOTR/Hobbit video on Tolkien day without actually being aware of that?! That’s so cool!😄 Thanks for letting me know!🤝😇
What a coincidence!
