Excellent Video.... For doing this single handed... Both figuratively & Literally. I like the tips on saving a few steps. Not sure if I'll leave existing hardware or replace but nice to see it can be done & I like your logic for leaving it in place. All the best with your future endeavors.

always change your hardware after you clean your caliper bracket. also grease the caliper bracket and the ears on the brake pads . you have black marks on your rotor from your hands the rotor should be cleaned with brake cleaner so it does not get on the brake pads. and also sometimes it is a good idea to open the bleeder valve befor pushing the piston back

Enjoyed the video. Is there a way to tell if your rotors are ready to be turned or replaced just by looking at them? How much of an indent should they have? My car has around 70k miles on it. This is the first time they brakes have been done.

The only problem I had was getting that little drum thingy back in so I could get everything back together. I ended up using one of the old brake pads and pliers to get it back in. Took just a couple of seconds doing it that way.

so probably $75 in parts for the front brakes. A shop in CA or CO would charge $600 for less than an hour of labor im sure. But they would sell you on doing all four brakes and you'll spend over $1300
