Former Councilor sinks Borehole, gives palliative to his constituents

Umueze, popularly known as Obi's quarters in Isheagu, one of the hospitable and agrarian communities in Aniocha South local government Area was electrified on Tuesday, when one of their illustrious sons, a philanthropist by all standards, who doesn't take pleasure in seeing his people suffer in peanury and the immediate past Councilor that represented Ward 9 , made of Ewulu and Isheagu, Hon Ugochukwu Ikekwuni,as usual in the spirit of the season put smiles on the faces of these men and women, the needy and the less privileged within his former constituency, not minding that he is neither an elective nor appointive office holder.
The poser is, what could be the reason behind this continued benevolence, even when he has left the office, the former Deputy leader of the Aniocha South legislative Arm while shedding more light said it was in fulfilment of the covenant he has with his maker.
Rev Fr Henry Ogonwa, who officiated the distribution of the Christmas palliatives and the inauguration of the Manual Borehole for the use of mankind, spoke on the spiritual implications of reaching out to the less privileged in the society.
