I believe the one in this video is an unreleased prototype. The ones produced around that year were much smaller, and the larger one only plays one song.
Dandee really needs to step up their game. They made really great merchandise pieces for characters like Sam, Hermey and Yukon but you hardly see anything of not nothing at all. It's always Rudolph, Clarice, and Bumble. I would love more Hermey and Sam merchandise from them. I tried to contact but can't find any contact information online. 😕
We had the license in 2000 and I wasn’t working on the licensing yet. Later on I prob worked on a few airblowns. No Jim Carrey and not much animation after that.
I wonder if the animated version of Sam from Gemmy was ever produced. You didn't say it wasn't so there's a good chance this was released, just very rare and hard to find.

I also wish there was a way for me to buy this but I get it if you wanna keep it's a very big part of gemmys history

I'm sure we sold Animated Sam. I must have a prototype with longer versions of the songs, that's very possible.
