I have actually seen the video before, but it focuses only on the defence. I think the community would also like to see attack and defence and more in-depth on the preparation in the middle, especially seeing the successes that szilagyi has
Looks like he's charging forward without really covering himself, while the opponent is only retreating and not doing anything - is this because of the right of way rule?
Once the attack is established the attacker doesn't have to worry about being hit since if both fencers hit, the attacker will get the point. This is why what the fencers do immediately after the referee says "fence" is so important as both fencers want to clearly establish themselves as the attacker, either by attacking straight away or more commonly making a preparation step and trying to counter what the opponent does.
