Hi Dave, i am interested to know, would you mind telling us whichis the best book of static + dynamic analysis in metal using CREO for beginner ? thanks for the informative video anw!
How do you not get a pre-made cross section when clicking on the sections button? I mean I've got pretty angry every time I have to make a section and Creo creates one automatically, name it and somehow I can't even use it because it's badly placed...
It seems our template model contained a pre-made section which creo converted as soon as I hit the section button. It did not appeared in tree, only in view manager.
Remind your CAD admins that they need to check the templates when they upgrade versions. That change to cross sections happened around Wildfire 4 or 5, like a dozen years ago. Pre-defined cross sections are unnecessary as the updated section tool provides 1-click X, Y, and Z sections.
i hope you are fine. i am a mechanical engineer. i have a Little command over creo and i want to learn more as my company demand me to make more efficient designs. i want to learn more about analysis and complex geometries can you guide me. and can you please make a video in which you can point the center of gravity of any vehicle. that will be much helpful thanks
Thanks you for the explication, keep on .
Love from india thanks a lot
Thanks, Gopi

I suggest you watch my Cross Sections video. It sounds like you’re doing it wrong.
