      @AtlasSurvivalShelters I have a idea for the escape tunnels, or even the door to the bunker if it's in a basement.
      If you don't know about wire cutting, there are videos, but two pieces of metal milled to seamlessly fit together.
      So if you make a door like that and have a way to guild it on some rails all it needs to do is go back a few inches then to the side, people get in then close and lock it behind them, and anyone chasing them provided they didn't see the use the door, would be wondering where they went.
      Being a low income man it's sad I can't afford your service but if I ever get the money in time I definitely am gonna put a order in.

    I've seen hundreds of bunkers in my life time: both government and private. This is one of the top 5 if not top bunker I have seen. It's amazing!!! This is what I would want personally, if I had that type of money laying around. You have privacy, you can get away from it all if you want quiet (shooting range), HVAC, power back ups, generator (I wonder how much fuel the tank holds), you name it. I would add a library/video/craft room, a bigger storage room (parts for the generator and such). Hell if I was single, I would almost just make this my home. Just need something for car storage. Great job!!!

    With all due respect, it seems to me that many "private" bunkers lack in some important aspects: real concealment of the entry, effective protection against blast/shockwave (90° turn), "serious" mud room/decontamination room in a sealed environment, redundancy in the most vital systems (at least TWO generators with PLENTY of fuel and spare parts, other power sources such as solar panels/wind turbines, multiple air filters, water supply, etc...).

    • @nickjohnson4340
      @nickjohnson4340 5 месяцев назад +3

      Was kind of thinking the same thing. For some short disaster it's perfect but if it was something more serious. You have a diesel generator which is nice but then it runs out of fuel and then what? I assume this bunker had some sort of backup power source but solar and wind could be damaged if they are sitting outside depending on the disaster.

    • @tomedwards7382
      @tomedwards7382 5 месяцев назад

      Seriously, how about a small nuclear reactor similar to what is used on deep space probes or the ones the Soviet union had decades ago, that were abandoned all across the countryside and are well documented. They are designed for zero maintenance power provision for decades...if you have the money I'm sure the permits could be had. You'd power your house off-grid too.

A trash compactor with hot seal bags (similar to what boats use to avoid dumping their garbage overboard), and now that you mention it some safety systems like carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, low oxygen sensor, just seems basic to me if you're going to be going under ground for any period of time.

    • @bkksw4731
      @bkksw4731 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@sean-or1nc Yep, those batteries are death in disguise without very good management. Compost would have to be well thought out as well because of the gases they generate. Someone who manages such a bunker would have to set goals for "how long under": with backup plans. I could see some sealed access doors along the escape tunnel with reinforced spring type cisterns to hold back the earth weight.. where you could progressively dump your "stuff" which would give it a safe place to decompose separate from the bubble itself and the gases would vent through the layers of earth which would filter the smells.. I'm sure there are several ways to thoughtfully engineer in some safety systems and they'd be first on my list. Having retired from the Navy I can think of all sorts of things that can kill you and your family in the context of staying underground in a bunker..

      @sean-or1nc 6 месяцев назад

      @@bkksw4731 semper paratus is the coast guard moto. I did 6 yr,,
      The gases for compost can be utilized for cooking and such. Worms and chickens or roaches and rats , some type of animal to assist with compost and sustenance would be important. And then Ya, it comes down to how long are you planning on using it like you said .
      I was thinking smoke curtains would be important in most doorways . Fire suppression system installed and remote around those batteries is a must

    Just curious can you have your manufacturer drop ship one of the air filtration systems to an address in Europe since they are located in Europe? Will those blast valves protect the bunker from these hyperbaric weapons? Not only do they emit a pressure wave but they also create a negative pressure wave as the fuel is consumed and it sucks out the atmosphere.
