Use some high density foam blocks as a standard spacer when making the template for the laser cut panel. You could also get the bare aluminum alloy anodised to some pretty cool colours as well.
Very cool! Wish they made something like this for the Crosstrek. Then again, there's not a whole lot of real estate for something like this. I admit I was luke warm on the Forrester when I got my Crosstrek, but it's really grown on me. Such a great sized and versatile car! Keep up the good work and looking forward to your future adventures!
Hey Jays! Thanks for checking us out! We are still improving and updating JACK ( our Subie name)…looking to do a full walk around tour soon! Cheers C&J
It looks like these turned out really nice! I think your thinking right with the rubber bumper spacers. I'm thinking these would be ideal in my off road park truck. I'm going to look into having some custom made. Another helpful tip inside of trim I like to use a Right Angle Drill attachment.
Hey thx for watching and yes, connect with New Holland Overland from Holland Michigan…our buddy Jeremy does custom work…tell him Kuehl Kuest sent ya! Cheers C&J
