      I agree with that, as Umai from Sarawak is made of Raw Fish meat with amazing mixed of lime juice, chilies and etc. I'm sure that it's kind of similar to some of the Japanese foods. Worth trying!

    Hi Kaz, Maggi brand is owned by Nestle from Switzerland but the Mee Kari instant noddle was definitely a Malaysia invention. The label you read means it was manufactured in Malaysia for xxx company and imported for xxx company in Brunei. This means that both countries have the same packaging as we share the same version of the Malay language. If imported to another country like Singapore or Thailand, there could be more use of English or Thai since they mostly do not understand Malay.
    I think the Indonesian cook prepared in Malaysian style because standard Indonesian mee goreng does not have sambal in its noodle, only kicap manis. She did use Indonesian stone mortar to prepare the sambal to cook Malaysian and Indonesian dishes as seen from the menu.

  • @izzuddinfakarudin5696
    @izzuddinfakarudin5696 2 года назад +28

    "Diimport oleh" means "imported by"
    That Maggi definitely is Malaysian Kaz😁
    .. and yes Kaz, Malaysia is one of the countries that has the most holidays(the most if I'm not mistaken) since so many ethnics and races 😬
    Looking forward to see your traveling videos in Malaysia (and sampling each states unique dishes of course) 😁

    I just cooked maggi goreng mamak for today's breakfast. Normally maggie goreng cooked by mamak, they put the maggie powder in the noodles, and it's more black color and dry. don't forget to ask for lime/calamansi to squeeze a bit on the maggie goreng...umai.. ;)
