OMG!!!! Back when social media wasn't popping, and you actually had to be social!!!!💯❤️ Literally, 82 through the early 2000's was a whole experience. It was like a vibe.
Only Jay and LP could collaborate and make it something EPIC! You might wanna check out Linkin Park & Jay Z's - Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying from You or Linkin Park feat Jay-Z - Izzo/In The End. If you haven't heard of LP's other collaboration, you might wanna check out Busta Rhymes ft. Linkin Park's "We Made It", and "Guilty All The Same" ft. Rakim (in the Lives Mike Shinoda did Busta's verse) or "Good Goodbye" ft. Pusha T & Stormzy (in the Lives Mike Shinoda had a bad a$$ second verse e.g. Live iHeartRadio 2017. Oh, and don't forget to check out Mike Shinoda's new song "Already Over" and Linkin Park to this day is appreciated.😆💯
The audience is small because it was by invite Jay-Z didn't put the word out to his fans so it's mostly just Linkin Park fans who also enjoy rap. This was *(MTV's ultimate mash-up Jay-Z vs Linkin Park)* you can watch the edited MTV version which is like 20min for the DVD version which is like 40min & it shows the making of the album Chester makes an Eminem joke "where's my snare on my headphones" It has some rehearsal footage before this performance live at the Roxy like 8 songs including this. They also came together another time & did a performance together at an outdoor venue
Not to mention it was also in a small club on Sunset. The Roxy isnt a huge club, so the fact that its to capacity for a surprise concert is great. Linkin Park and Jay Z notwithstanding
@@JemJam2976 would have been a cool concert for multiple reasons the concert itself the collab seen each artist individually or together and then of course because of Chester's passing
My uncle was at this concert, which is insane because he IS a German and somehow got a ticket as there was a special way to get these tickets from what he told me, other comment writers are probably mor knowledgible about this but he always said it was the greatest concert of hils life. He also gave me the opportunity to see them live during their last journey to Germany!
Jigga What/Faint on the album is my fav… the way faint fully drops one minute in always gives me the chills! Just finished watching all your Tay-Sway videos and saw this gem! Please do all of Collision course!!! You’ve already done 1 song, only 5 more to go!!! Y’all are awesome! 🫶🏽
I wasn’t there, but it was at the Roxy Theater in LA and I live 1 block from that venue right now. I think about this performance everyday it seems. I live in TN when this come out and never thought I would be so close to music history.
Man, I forgot how much I love that colab!!
one of the first times that I have not heard any reactor that said "this is the first time I'm hearing this song".
Did ya'll notice that no one in the crowd had phones yet? Everyone was just into it going nuts. So good.
What a great era.
Oh shut up zoomer. Phones were there, get mad.
You sound like a bitter old person dude. Nobody had phones because it was a small venue and they were engaged.

You should check out an OST for a film called Judgement Night, came out a decade before this and have some wicked collabs on it :)

I still got Jay z collab album on cd i crank it when I'm going to work from time to time kids look at me like whoa that's cool who are they
They learned to do this love-child from Mike Shinoda (the rapper). Mike did this growing up lol.
I absolutely love this collaboration, and this fantastic performance!
Everyone was asked who their 2nd favorite artist was and the one's that said Jay-Z were given tickets. It was at the Roxy or the rainbow room in L.A

I wasn't there for this but I did go to the tour with Jay z and that was epic
This was recorded by MTV so I'm surprised you can only get 380p it's probably whoever uploaded it
For Rap fans, try Ren-Illest of our time or Losing it, Bobby- U mad or Hercules. A classic: Epic high- Born hater and Higher Music-The Purge.
