Very interesting ross, I p os, i know a little about them, from what I saw in a previous tutorial of yours, but this was obviously more thorough and to the point. Certainly seem volatile to me and it looks likes patience is the key here, would not want to be looking elsewhere, when these kick of. But as it is with any type of trading, you have to study and learn what it’s all about and once your aware of how a particular stock trades it should give you a bit more of an advantage. So yeah, this is another trading technique I got to get very familiar with and when I do, like so many others I hope it will prove to be successful.

I was an avid daily reddit user for about a decade. Their decision and handling of the 3rd party app debacle made me leave and I promised I wouldn't be back. I went for a while without having that void filled, but eventually found Lemmy, and I will say, it's basically reddit at this point. It's not quite as nuanced and niche of course with a much smaller community, but the effort is there and each passing day feels like it has more users and content. Do with that info what you will, but long term, I think reddit is toast.
Alab IPO today just grinded higher - priced at 34 opened at approx 52 & grinded to close at 62ish.
HOOD is probably the best comparison that still has lower timeframe data on the chart timeline

@@darkbirdgraal2517 ive been on a simulator for 9 months and now it's been 5 green weeks in the live account but Im only at $3500 so I could only buy a 100 shares and I am kinda scared I won't be able to handle the emotions in such a high volatility

If you look at the price at open, it says 47$, dropped to 46.52 and went straight up to 57.80 in 6 minutes but didn’t hold. That’s why he says it’s risky. And must put stop losses or take profits quickly.
There will be a lot of hype, probably will reach 120 very quick

Here is what I think is gonna happen with the Reddit IPO: 1. First of all the VERY 1st trade is gonna be WAY ABOVE the IPO price! I say the 1st trade is gonna be over $30 a share. Then it's gonna IMMEDIATELY jump up to about $34 in about 30 seconds and then start going down. It's gonna be extremely volatile all afternoon because I don't believe they will open it for trading AFTER 12 NOON Eastern time. I agree with the dip strategy BUT I suggest buy a very small amount off the dip and if it goes against U, to still hold for a bit to wait for the rebound which has a very good chance of coming back in your favor IF you buy within the 1st 30 minutes or so. If it's crashing hard, then I suggest getting totally out and waiting for things to settle down. This is the most anticipated IPO in a long time and will remind Traders of the good old days so I think it's gonna be a wild and fun day! Correction! Ment to say open above $30 not $40 and goto $34 not $44 so changed the numbers. 🤔👍🏾
