Thanks Guys. You just got Yourself a New Subscriber as That was very interesting to watch!! I have been dabbling with my own family tree on and off for a number of years. I managed to get it back to my Great x 3 Grandad, got myself some photos and Certificate of Births, Death's and Marriage and I am currently waiting on the results of one of them DNA test.
We sadly lost my Grandad in February. The guy who’s doing up the pub gave me a tour, which I was able to show my Grandad just before he died. I always remember him saying Brian was a good dancer who ended up a judo expert. Pass on my regards
@@JotHaGie sorry to hear that 🙏🙏🙏 I’ll let Brian know, can’t believe that picture when I saw it, I’ve known brian since I was in a pram he’s more or less my grandad and you can tell it’s him in the picture straight away 🤣
Brian Walker was my uncle. He and I we’re best mates even though we came to Australia in 1964. He moved into 14 Warrington Rd when my Nan died in 1963 where lived and operated a number of businesses. He was heart broken when his wife Elsie passed and never really recovered. I miss him dearly.
Used to play in that graveyard 40 yrs ago. Ashton looks so bleak now. Used to be bustling.
