    I feel like we went on a mission with you on this whole rear end thing. But "if I'm being honest" I'm all for deeper projects like this. I know it's not quick satisfaction, but I'd rather less videos, if they're more satisfying. Not to mention the fun content that's to come, when you're able to play with the Blazer for real! Good shit B!

    Won’t those larger holes on the rotor cause the brake rotors to move when the brake pad bites it? Causing some cracking/clicking? 🤔

    • @nismospek
      @nismospek 8 месяцев назад

      the rotor wont move because its clamped on when the wheel gets mounted.

    • @Turbo-87-318
      @Turbo-87-318 8 месяцев назад

      I agree you wouldn't drill out your wheel holes for the same reason

    • @CzechSixTv
      @CzechSixTv 2 месяца назад

      @@nismospek Under normal street driving it's not really an issue. They can and do move though if you're doing something like spooling up a turbo with an auto for a footbrake launch. The caliper is clamping the rotor a whole lot tighter than the lug nuts ever could. I've seen studs that had flat spots from contacting drilled out rotors and even worse, gouged studs from drilled out drums.
      Realistically, with a turbo LS and sticky tires, that rear needs C-clip eliminators and alloy shafts too.

  • @dannyipwn1203
    @dannyipwn1203 8 месяцев назад +1

    Bro, you dont want the rotor to be able to spin inbetween the hub and the rim, youre gonna have some weird shit going on.
    it would be wise to drill 2 small holes and thread in a couple screws.

    One more question with the mini spool will the wheels bark when turning or does it still allow the axle to slip so it dosent bark or hop how ever you want to call it?

    Im still tryin to figure out Why the 8.8 ?? I built transmissions in a shop for 32 yrs . We rebuilt MANY of those junk Ford rear ends . They drop like flies !!!

    • @CzechSixTv
      @CzechSixTv 2 месяца назад

      In F series trucks, full size SUV's and Econolines sure. There are tons of Mustangs in the 9's with properly built 8.8's and guys run them under Jeeps on 36" tires all the time with no problem*. The 8.8 has proven to be just as strong as the venerable GM 12 bolt in similar applications time and time again.

    What happened to the s10?

  • @Ontheregz
    @Ontheregz 8 месяцев назад +3

    That factory ford lsd was more than enough for your needs lol. My friends turbo 5.3 s10 is using explorer 8.8 with factory lsd and he has plenty of traction and he runs hard tire as well as slick. That mini spool isn’t going to be fun when you have to turn, tires will be pissed off and more potential to break something in the rear. At the track it will be great.
