At one of this things you’re not aloud to sing along so that you can hear the artist and just the artist. And you not aloud to clap in till the song is over.
Everyone’s talking about how the audience was silent: I was at this show, right before he said he was gonna take the song by himself. The band left and a lot of us decided to be quiet out of respect. I personally didn’t even record. This was just such a personal moment so we just respected that. It’s my personal favorite song of his and this moment was so beautiful. The show was amazing, and it was my favorite moment from the show. It’s amazing that they captured it so incredibly and other people get to experience it too :)

It makes me happy you didn’t record it. Recording at concerts really makes me torn, I love capturing the moments so I have them on my phone forever, but idk. I want to respect the artist and actually watch them in front of me and not through a screen. I understand why so many artists get upset when all they see are just a bunch of phones pointed at them at concerts, and I feel that way when I watch live videos on RUclips. So many people were crying in this video but they had their phones in front of their faces and it just makes me feel weird, yet I understand why people do it. Idk. I’m just glad you brought that up, so jealous of you to be at that show.
tommykevans3 yeah. I get that. I tried not to record too much and just enjoy the moment. It was amazing and I like being able to look back on what I have though. Also this moment felt super personal so I just felt weird recording.

Back in November, I went to his concert in Houston. At this time, the story wasn’t out, and when he mentioned he was playing a song that wasn’t out yet, you could feel everyone’s excitement. As he started playing, everyone got silent and the only thing you could hear was Conan. There was the occasional scream or awe from the crowd, but everyone could tell how important this song was to him. I’m so happy I got to experience that.
Conan also mentioned that was the biggest venue he had ever played, but I guess now he’s played A LOT larger.
I’m so proud of how far he’s come though. I’ve been watching Conan since before grow, and to see his success has been really rewarding. I love how his music has evolved throughout the years, but somehow it’s always kept the Conan charm.
I wish nothing but the best for him, and I really hope he continues doing what he loves because seeing that emotion radiate from him is amazing. :)

when i saw him in november of 2019, this song hadn’t even been released. he said he was gonna take it by himself, and the whole crowd went silent out of respect. barely even recorded, and we all just were in the moment. i even cried because, instead of focusing on the screaming fans, i thought about my own life. cone is incredible at making music that appeals and is relatable to his audience. so thankful for him. xx

He’s so beautiful I can’t believe it.
