Hello and welcome to my longest video of the year. This is my year end reading wrap up. I go though an overview of my goals and then go into every single book I read this year (minus those I'll be reading in December and those I forgot to log!)

The Good Earth is one of my all-time favorites! I read it when I was quite young and it really stuck with me. I totally agree that it's so readable. There's something oddly comforting about it to me. Not sure if you're aware, but it's actually the first in a trilogy. I didn't care for the rest of the trilogy, though. I think The Good Earth is better as a standalone and I love the ending.

I liked the ending too! I don't plan on reading the rest (at least any time soon)
