1996 masters was the greatest of all time: Sampras, Becker, Krajicek, Ivanisevic, Agassi, Kafelnikov and Muster!! INSANE!!

Very hard to beat BB indoors. Probably the best indoor court player-topped only by Sampras

That’s true to a degree about Kraijcheck & Sampras - but I’m guessing that Pistol Pete won most of the important matches !!

Krajecek at his peak ,96 Wimbledon beat Sampras at his peak 3 sets to 0 ,an unbelievable achievement, even Federer beat Sampras in 2001 Wimbledon little away from Sampras s peak only in five sets, that is 3 2 , in a very close match.Thats why you never know in sports who can achieve what in their peak,I think krajecek didn't loose any set in 96 Wimbledon.Krajeciks at his peak was unplayable as he regularly got 2 to 3 aces per game, with excellent volleying and return of serves !!!

@@kameshavailable Look up Krajicek in Stuttgart 1998. He beat Magnus Norman, Agassi, Ivanisevic, Sampras and Kafelnikov in a row. He shut all those guys down. How many people have taken out Agassi and Sampras in the same tournament? That was back when Sampras was #1, Agassi #6, Kafelnikov #11 and Ivanisevic was #12. If you beat any two of those four to win a title, it would be considered a serious run at a title. Ivanisevic was also on a 9 win streak against Krajicek, which Krajicek snapped.
I still have two of those matches on video, and he made Agassi and Ivanisevic look bad. You need some serious ability to do what he did in that tournament.

@@kameshavailable Krajicek defeating Sampras on true fast grass at Wimbledon is more impressive than Federer beating Sampras on perennial rye slow grass. If Federer played either of them in the 90s on faster grass he'd lose badly.
