Austria did everything in their power to win this game. The desperation and determination was 100% today. Finland was okay today, the lack of energy was remarkable, or just will power, not sure which.

@@antroidi7283 No, but they do need to pull it together for the elimination rounds. Any of the other top competitors could easily knock us out in the quarters. Switzerland, Czech, Canada, US, Sweden are all looking stronger.
@@AlexAnteroLammikko In my opinion the biggest problem is that there's only lefties in the 1st line and also in 1st powerplay line. They can't pass or shoot easily when there's not any right handed player.
@@antroidi7283 But I would have liked to see how the 1st line would continue to play in and develop. Unfortunately that didn't happen.

finland pure domination, pure domination. should have won this game 15 - 0. austria was lucky to escape 2 periods being down 2 - 1. but got completely outplayed in the third period letting in another goal for a 3 - 1 loss to the greatest powerhouse in hockey.

as a Finn, I have to say that at first I also thought about their weak moves, but for example Rantanen's teammate said that Rantanen and many nhl players only get fired up when they are playing for medals. in the games of the first series, only the necessary points are collected and the players are not tired too much

in my eyes the puck was over the line. And if the refs would have had decided the right way maybe the game might have been interesting at the end. At first I wouldn't have thought that Finland would have a hard time against Austria..
