This was certainly an amazing story with specific functional lessons, such as always remaining focused, resilient, fighting selflessly not just for justice but fairly in every way. Thank you so much.
You'll never know who'll run run across in this world who'll break down your world when you just thought of others as a nobody or a low life to society.
I learned a great lesson from this story, and saw how corrupt our system of justice is, should stand all in unity to fight for equality and justice for all.
I really agree with your point of view. The story really highlights the need to fight for fairness and transparency in the justice system. Unity and working together is the best way to promote positive change and protect the rights of all. Where do you think we can start to make a difference?
I grew up during the black power movement. Back then we had a saying. " There's no justice. JUST US. I've been witness to this kind of behavior. When the officer my husband and I over, he discovered that my husband was a US Marine and Army man who had never gotten a traffic of ANY KIND, He turned his attention to me. But to his surprise I was ready for it. I showed him my credentials and informed him that I worked for the Federal government and my bosses are his boss's boss. He checked my credentials and quickly returned our information to us. Apologized to us and left us with a Red face. He was embarrassed as hell.
I'm very impressed by this young lawyer with high professional standards. What an achievement for her hard and dedicated efforts for justice for all. ❤
Yes I was convicted and accused of wrongdoing by a police officer in Louisiana police officer in Louisiana and I am fighting it now wrongly accused and wishing that I get my life back as it was before in Jesus name someone out there please help that's in the legal system of attorneys
Am glad that Linda is a strong & educated Lawyer & knows her right. It serves the Police Officer right & am glad others learn they lessons. We need more activists like Linda to fight the system
This is a story that I can relate to. For my son, a young black man, who went to college in a different city was accused of wrong doing. He was railroaded in a situation unbecoming to a young man with two sisters. Yet the court labeled him as a felon and he now is marked for life. All because (as the judge said) "you think what you do in Detroit you can come to Flint and do". I'll make an example of you. This was in 2015. My son turned 18, and three days later going to a party in the dorms drank alcohol and subsequently was intoxicated (No excuse). He went to a young lady's room, a young lady he had been intimate with and was accused of attempting to rape her by another young lady. My son came home on a tether and was only allowed a few hours out a day, we had to take him back to Flint to see a probation officer that assigned him an officer in Detroit. Justice is prejudice in other cities when you're not from the city your in.
Thank you very much for the story because there's so much precious and wrong doing and evil in the world today and things and ways personality and attitude that some people has need to be changed. And I thank you for the story and that's a lot. Even today it's happening with policemen with the peoples and everyone that think wrong or bad or corruption or evil and they need to be resolved. So I thank you for this story. I praise God for the peoples early . I get up at 4:00 or 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning and pray for everyone. I don't know everyone but I pray that God heals the heart and the mind of his peoples and help them live in a good Christian way of life. Thank you sir. Have a good and a blessed even bye-bye and believe and trust God believe and trust God in Jesus name. Amen
Thank you so much for your heartfelt and emotional sharing. It is important to recognize the good and bad things in life so that we can change and improve. Prayer is a great way to connect and help heal people's souls. Hopefully these stories continue to inspire and bring about positive change. Stay strong and blessed. Amen! What time of day do you usually pray?
Thank you! This story truly highlights the triumph of justice and exposes the worst of systemic corruption. It is powerful to see the truth revealed. Do you think stories like this can create change in the real world?
My question is, what happens to her personal belongings in her car? I am so tired of these people wearing a uniform and badge representing a law enforcer getting away with this harassment. The biggest question is that the injustice being placed in this organization when will it be stopped?
I'm curious why it seemed a large portion of the story is repeated word for word as if the playback jumped back to the arrest. Is that a mistake or an attempt to make it longer without creating new storyline. The story is an obvious example of evil racial prejudice.

This was a beautiful story. I. am happy for Linda courage to stand firm against 2:39 wrong doing. This story and the incident has happen in many cities around the world. Linda received justice in Detroit and the outcome was great. There are many other Detroit in the united States and officers life Thomas and the crooked Cops have not paid for their crimes. I hope people learned that all men were created equal and deserves to be treated as such. I enjoyed the story. I would love to live to see when Justice stop being lopsided. Every man should be treated fairly and the color of the skin should not matter.
Thanks for being an example to me when facing racism cops. I know that they are out there because it was born in their heart. May God protect his and always remember God said venture is his. One day dead or alive we will face judgment.
I think this story is is magnificent it just goes to show you that you can't root out bias and prejudice for someone people like him people have to suffer for people that abuse their authority

We been going through this all our lives ! And it's still going on today but we standing tall and staying strong keep fighting , but not each other there's strength in numbers we have to stay together !
Linda was not just a classy, intelligent woman, but she was a very professional, dedicated, and sincere woman. I tip my hat to the professionalism and the dedication of her hard work.🎉

🔥It's sad to think no one above arresting officer out ranking him, rather risk their own position by not questioning the charges against victim. Jails/ Prisons overcrowding, partly due to lazy tactics(look the other way syndrome)Shouldn't happen! Processing should be more theral than it is. Everytime someone mentions "drugs" I say ,get the drug dogs.😂 Entire penal systems needs to be revamped. Jails/ Prisons are Palaces now. This started in the 50's and kind of faded away around 2015 when the first Sheriff Ballanos ,first man of color, was elected. I worked for this office once but was terminated because I dated a female on work furlough program who lived near my cousins home. We had a falling out so she told the office. No money , drugs, or inappropriate behavior inside the facility ever happened.. The staff complained of things that were said about me that were hear say & blown up. This was my fault. This system was unjust because I as a man of color could talk a person and defuse situations, not play stinky finger with fellow officers, lie or juice up reports, or choke persons out , and had a life beyond abuse the groupies including supervisors stuck together. From the Sheriff (Leonard Cardoza three plus DUI).Captain spervisors DUIs, deputies dating multiples inmate ,stealing bail monies

Too much of repeatative statement and unnecessary dragging making a good story boring Please learn to tell a story without making it dull and force the listener to switch off
Would the government ensure that each department in their jurisdiction is not controlled by somebody corrupted? Do not rely on anyone who has been in their post for far long . They need to be transfered once in while to check what they, ve been doing while holding that posts. Sometimes they are inter- connected in their work though in different establishment. This auditing needs somebody who seems just sn ordinary staff but who knows how that particular system should be done in a correct way.
SUCH A WONDERFUL AND PROFOUND MESSAGE. WE HAVE TO BE VIGILANT AGAINST THIS CORRUPT SYSTEM.

The story brought home my own two bad experiences; one actually very gruesome encouter with Kansas City police.
Yes, Linda was right, to fight for justice. I have identified with the experience

There is some Justice that never has been serviced but we keep hoping 😢
