I heard this song a couple of months ago and was blown away by the sound, and I was sure it was made in a million-dollar studio. Had no idea it was all T-Racks. I bought the TR-5 bundle on Black Friday just because I was was so floored by the sound of the plugins, then came across this. To say I'm a happy boy is an understatement.
I love how TLA teaches like he's your best friend! Thank you Tom! I learned more in this quick 20 minutes than I could have in 6 months of watching other RUclips "tips." The song is amazing too!
Everyone who uses the T-RackS ONE absolutely adores it and I'm no exception. It's an incredible piece of kit and it almost seems like it uses some kind of magic because everything sounds better through it.
13:25 Just take a second to pause the video and look at some of Tom’s memory locations over on the right side of the screen. This man is a complete nutcase but goddamn I love him for it!
Absolutely valuable advice/tips. I had to really do a rethink on the way I have been setting up a master fader. Have had the T-Rack S One and just haven't seen it put to good action to fully understand it's potential as a very standalone-no-need-for-nothing-else plugin. This showed me just how usefully cool it is. Time to re-visit my DAW templates again. Thank you for sharing this with us. Awesome.
Holy Crap...this was a serious reality check. I think I need to rethink my plugin chains. This was really impressive. Somehow, I like the dad more than the son. He just seems cooler and more professional sounding.
I'm assuming when he uses the Black 76, he's using it directly into that channel rather than a bus. I'm wondering how many a average computer i7 can handle. I've never really thought about it, but now wonder what if you have 48 tracks and 20 plugins. Maybe using group busses would be a good way of managing the load.
A decent i7 or any computer within T-RackS specs/requirements can handle a lot of T-RackS plugins. Tom is running a ton of them on that modest laptop, and on a song with a lot of tracks.

The legend TLA!! Thanks IK Multimedia for this great video
I love this dude. Best Alge of the bunch. I also like the "eyeball" tube on the saturator plug. That's a cool touch.
I love eyeballs...they're cool to touch.
Amazing work ! TLA is a GENIUS !!!
Really enjoyed that clinic.
It is a wonderful tutorial.
My ability to handle toms has advanced one step ahead.
And I was able to reconfirm the high quality of CSR.
Rolling off the top-end was such a great trick! My toms sound way better now :)

Thanks Tom. You have just shown that it isn't about high end $'s for your plug-ins that matter. It's your ears.
IK Multimedia TrackS 5 does it for me!
Nice job tom

Also note you can demo T-RackS to see how it does on your system www.t-racks.com
cool
Surprising that, seeing as he has an actual SSL G series board, he wasn't using the White Channel instead of the British Channel.
This music remind me so hard on pinkly smooth
