It's just really refreshing seeing an Idol that has a real/normal personality. Most idols wont allow the public to see their nerdy or goofy sides. And knowing she's into some nerdy hobbies makes me love her EVEN MORE!

it's not that she's "gen-z", it's just because she grew up in an environment similar to that of English-speaking regions, so her way of talking is relatable to you. People who grow up in different cultures have different way of speaking.
Actually a lot of the words/ phrases she uses are synonymous with "gen z" slangs and are not traditional English grammar. Its not that earlier generations didn't use them, it's just that they became more popular/mainstream as gen z started coming of age.
