Can you please cover the TH vs FPX game, I really do love seeing FPX run nonstandard comps and with how close that game 3 was it would make for a great vid
Can we look at how bad FUT was at using their ults on bind? I really am interested in this topic as I sometimes lose rounds like these in rank too where my team ults.
I need to say this rn that if FPX beat SEN and then lose to Gen G (TH would need to beat Gen G), then FPX is no doubt the third best team in the world in my eyes cuz how tf you gonna lose to only 2 teams who are both the favourites to win
I was tired and decided to go back to bed early because the analysts and casters were really hammering it home that Trace just wasn't as good; making it sound like the match-up would be a stomp. I was so shocked to wake up and learn that they won; good on them.
What exactly do you think the aim of the attacking side is supposed to be on Bind? Watching the match it feels like teams will always split 3-2 on defence and only rotate players when the execute comes in. Is the attacking side just trying to hit the weaker site/burn util? What makes a good attacking position on Bind?
I always thought that the aim of the attack side on Bind is to take as much map control as possible. Hitting the weak side isn't enough because usually the weak side always has a delay setup with mollies and Viper wall which allows for a good hookah crunch through the teleport as well as faster rotations. If you can create enough pressure on one side like let's say B to get one guy to rotate and have your lurker take showers, it can set you up for a really good teleport play. Similarly, if you maintain control of either B long or Hookah(maybe both) while leaning towards A, it'll keep defenders stuck in position. That's why you'll see defenders reclear or fight for hookah, B long, Showers etc. The whole point is to starve the defenders for info and make them second guess themselves about where you're actually gonna hit. This is why sometimes you'll see solo Raze on B long or Hookah just annoying the defenders.
@@speedforce8970 In my head map control only matters since it forces the team to place players on the site to defend against the execute (or at least make it costly for the attackers in manpower/util). But as mentioned earlier, Bind always has teams splitting 3/2 on opposite sites (I guess a further question you could ask is why they even do this, which honestly I don't know myself and is probably the crux of the matter of my original question.)
Vitality earned their spot for sure but just like Sen not keeping composure and letting things slip on the biggest stage gotta get fixed if they wanna make a run

"I owe you an apology. I wasn't really familiar with your game." ggs to Trace and ty tdawgg for the upload
Vitality honestly threw not flying Tdawgg out to champs and having him as an analyst
I feel like the Vitality boys expected to win, and by bind they just kinda looked frantic... like how many times are we getting caught with util out

Working the map to gain control of places, applying pressure to cause rotations, manipulating those rotations with the teleporter
what happened to the doctor pepper mountain
New place, no mountains😢
