Great points here, I've been playing collegiate since Ep 1 and I can say that the biggest issue with collegiate is quality. Tournaments other than CVAL/Redbull were filled with terrible formatting issues and teams in general that don't prepare you for teams that are Challengers quality. I remember playing in tournaments with a 128 team format, and most of the teams up until the top 16/8 were legitimate diamond teams. Couple that with the fact that scrim servers don't give much priority to collegiate teams (at the time), you basically had to play Mickey mouse leagues back to back before you played against the better teams. It's def not a path to pro but if you were going to a good school, you might as well do something you love while getting an education out of it.

18:50 TMV commented on this smoke being a very weird choice considering they were KAYO ulting onto the cypher bombsite, it just seems as though the players weren't on the same page. a CT smoke may have been more apt, just tragic to watch overall, Zekken did NOT want to lose and it seems as though he felt like he HAD to be the difference maker, which when looking at how the rest of his team played that map was probably true.
