The Malayan Peoples' Anti-Japanese Army (MPAJA) was a communist guerrilla army that resisted the Japanese occupation of Malaya from 1941 to 1945. Composed mainly of ethnic Chinese guerrilla fighters, the MPAJA was the largest anti-Japanese resistance group in Malaya. Founded during the Japanese invasion of Malaya, the MPAJA was conceived as a part of a combined effort by the Malayan Communist Party (MCP) and the British colonial government, alongside various smaller groups to resist the Japanese occupation. Although the MPAJA and the MCP were officially different organisations, many saw the MPAJA as a de facto armed wing of the MCP due to its leadership being staffed by mostly ethnic Chinese communists.[3] Many of the ex-guerrillas of the MPAJA would later form the Malayan National Liberation Army (MNLA) and resist the British occupation of Malaya during the Malayan Emergency (1948-1960)

This is one of the few countryhumans vids that i truly appreciate from a history standpoint, bc not only does it inform us of the atrocities PKM did, it also provide us a reason of why they did so.
Ethnic Chinese immigrants from mainland china had been through war with the Japanese back home, and they certainly did not want the same thing to happen again in Malaya. Did they have the spirit to liberate their people? Sure, yes, but the way they did it is cruel. The scars it left in our country runs deep even in today's society. We have every right to be mad at them bc in no way that their actions is better than the Japanese, but at the same time as historians, we should know that understanding the motives DOES NOT MEAN supporting a terrible cause. This vid, along with the genius song choice and graphics is able to explain the history of MPAJA/PKM while also balancing both sides of the perspective. It shows maturity in understanding a controversial history, and I applaud OP for that.

i also agree with one of the top-liked comments about the understanding all povs in controversial history ≠ not recognizing the harmful and cruel events that transpired and what was at fault, i don't have an opinion on the "is hong kong china" thing since to me you're one nation (not necessarily state) if you've shared your history, but growing up in hong kong definitely gave me a somewhat more mixed view of red justice lol so i'd say i understand the perspective very much and completely empathize, this animation is amazing in that aspect btw

You can try draw various things to know what kind of drawing you like, other than that, I recommend you to watch animation tutorials. I spend years to study animation transition and lots of drawing practice. But, when you have motivation to learn bout' it, I am sure that you can master it in short time.
