Good review, springfield does a great job with refining classic designs while keeping the looks and features that make the gun special. The GI 1911 and Ronan 1911 are two perfect examples. Can't wait to get my hands on the SA 35.
Just got my SA-35, trigger is gritty with a rough break. Lube and dry firing hasn't made a noticeable improvement. My Girsan 35, which I got 1 month ago has a better trigger- its a little rough on the take up due to the magazine disconnect but has a nice clean break.
@@justinedse3314 Yup. Not sure what the purpose of that flippy thing is for... I know of no purpose. One thing for sure muzzle is not down range........
It's the John Wick one-handed press check. Leave that unnecessary showboat stuff for the movies. It's a great way to end up with a ND and definitely not something you want a less capable viewer to attempt with a loaded weapon. Try that press check on the range with any reputable instructor and that will be your ticket out of that class.
How many rounds now have you shot through this gun? Any issues with it? I bought one today and am having some buyer’s remorse because of some videos I saw with people having FTE issues.
Well, after I completed my review, the gun sat in my safe unfired for basically ever. Not because I don't like it, I still do like it, but because I was busy shooting other stuff. So I sold it.
I wasn't impressed with the one I handled, mainly due to the sharp edge of the backstrap. I'm pretty sure even with the Rowel hammer it's going to eat the web of my hand.
Run and gun crap, if hitting a plate at 10 feet is your thing the sights are horrible on these guns a six o clock hold should be standard this gun should have a warring that the sights are combat and not 6 oclock
Very nice review. Been looking for one off and on for the past year. A LGS got one in and I put on layaway.
Damn that looks awesome. Love the classic lines. 😂
Still kinda want one, but I decided that the single-action CZ-75 was better.
@@TheSuburban15 ooof tough choice, battle of the og wonder 9's.
Honestly, the HiPower lines always were off to me. The CZ-75 definitely improved in that regard. Not saying the SA-35 isn’t pretty.
So good for NCR trooper LARP purposes. Nice.

Gotta respect the classics.
when are you going to do the Springfield Mil Spec A1 45 acp. Just bought one and was wanting your opinion.
They def beat the “new” FN high power, that rounded off atrocity FN made makes me wanna throw up when I see it

Great review. Was wondering if this was any good. Have had FNs in the past and like the fit and feel.
Whats with the little flippy thing you do? You should maintain better muzzle control. Always keep muzzle pointed down range!!
My muzzle is perfectly under control. At no point am I pointing this gun in an unsafe direction
I see it! I see what you're talking about! It's some fancy flip thing!! Lol

@@midnightblue131 But what if he is the instructor? Now what …son?
Revolver grip always solves the premature slide lock.
I have moved away from the thumbs 4ward grip.
I grip revolvers the same way I grip a semi-auto
Now do one on the fn.

FN still owns the name "High Power." In fact they have designed a new High Power that has nothing relating to the original High Power excpet the name.
That happens to the inside of my thumb and into the webbing of my hand when I shoot Glocks.
My beretta 92a1 eats my hand up from the beavertail profile just like that
Held one, thankfully didn't buy one. Beavertail hits me way wrong. Right in the thumb joint.

No issues with ejection like Garand Thumb had?
Not so far, this gun is a much later version than his though I am guessing they got that worked out
Only thing I’ll say is these guns are so small n my hands are so average size lol
