1:32 My educated guess is that the reason why the spring is longer is for shock absorption for usage of +P munitions. Less wear and tear on the frame by having more spring reduction. It makes sense.
Enjoy the video everyone. One minor correction in the video. The magazines I spoke about are compatible with the "Old" Hi-Powers, not the new and current so called FN Hi-Power.
Sorry to hear that. If you have low serial number, it could be the extractor. Early models had extraction problems. Hand loaded ammo, limp wristing, or improper grip, can do it too. Have you shot it too with the same problem?
@LoneStarLawman Yes I've shot it too, I'm procrastinating about sending it back but we have about 1200 rounds of mostly FMJ through it and it just refuses to cycle reliably.
I have the SA-35 Hi-Power, I love it so much it's now my daily carry.
Hello, did you have extractor problems?
@@Darknightfantom No, it runs great. But I bought 13 round metgar mags and use them.
John Browning never made a bad looking gun.
Really been thinking about picking one of these up. Thumbs up on vedder. Quality stuff.
Original HP mags interchange with SA 35.Mine runs great.

Makes sense to me, too. Thanks for the feedback.
@@LoneStarLawman yea sure!
I love my SA35
Good video thanks

My wifes SA35 is a jam-o-matic...nothing runs reliably through it.

@@nicholasroberts9618 Sorry Nick, I guess you might have to send back. Warranty should still be good. They will fix it.
@@LoneStarLawman Thanks! It's still a beautiful piece!
@@nicholasroberts9618I bet u have an early model like when it first released they had issues with extractor they fixed it now thankfully.
