hi my iphone 7 plus is water damaged and now it keeps on restarting. sometime it gives the display and screen,camera, speakers works perfectly fine apart from home button. i opened it and found that the water marks rust around the taptic engin. do you think if i replace the taptic engin my home button/touch id will work??? Please help.
Hi. Why do you have to remove the screen for this repair? The vibrator unit can be replaced without having to disconnect the screen.

why do this taptic engine look different than before. i believe it used to be a long one across, below the battery. reply asap
francis maza the 6s has the long one across the bottom of the battery, but the Plus has the shorter one. They both work the same though :)
