Keynote speaker, Laura Tamblyn Watts, CEO of CanAge will provide information on: how to be a POA, navigating the difficult waters of mental capacity and advanced care planning.
Other presenters included Detective Jennie Fitzsimmons, Domestic Violence Coordinator, Elder Abuse Investigator & Vulnerable Persons, Peterborough Police Service who addressed the police role in responding the cases of elder abuse and Raeann Rideout, Director of Partnerships & Outreach, EAPO who addresses provincial support services for seniors at risk of abuse.
