This is the perfect pre training speech. These are the words that flow through my mind before I go out and during my training. This is what we live for.
@123Steaky Sometimes get hurt even if we do frerunning, make us think in parkour Philosophy, to be and to last. I got hurt 6 months, and my mind changed a lot since that. We just have to do it safe, so the traceurs of all the world can share this beautiful discipline for a long time.
that line related well still with the concept of life being a system of actions. The only thing that makes chase different then you is that he chose to do this.
why does this comment have so many thumbs down? He's totally right. It has nothing to do with video games. It's a great video, on of my favorites. But what does it have to do with video games?
When I realized this, everything changed! What was down, became up. Long, became short. Liquid became solid. These days, nothing's what it seems. That's when I did my first slip. I was looking at where my hand should have been. And it wasn't! But like I said, I'm not special. Anyone can do this. Just need to know what button to press..." It might not be exactly what he said, but it is what I think I heard him say!
Here you are: "'Can you do it?' they asked. 'Anyone can do it' I said. I don't think they believed me though. You see, for as long as I can remember, I've pushed myself to do what normal people would consider impossible. Naa, I'm always on the edge. Dance in the blade of perfection. Really is no room for error. Hm, to not be controlled.
Can you do it, they asked. Anyone can do it I said, I don't think they believe me though. You see for as long as I can remember I've pushed myself to do what normal people would consider impossible, now you're always on the edge, dancing the blade of perfection. There really is no room for error, to not be in control, well, game over. You got to think beyond the walls, beyond the boundaries, pushing your mind to accept that there are none. It's only impossible because you've been told it is.
First flip on grass, congrats.. its scary at first but once you do it, its like wtf was that so scary... just like when you flip off of stuff.. same thing
woah , i know u won't read this but i dont give a shit. Bets ad youve been in. So fucking stylish and so well done. The orange drink and energy drink ads were a bit shitty but this , is on another level.
Yup, Parkour is the most fun sport, It's so fun because it's defeating your fear, I'd say.. Be Afraid of Fear.. 'Anyone can do this' You just need to try, If you can't, train till you can..
after having chase armitage in one of their commercials you'd think xbox would finally make a Parkour/Freerunning game, there was some crappy ps2 game a long time ago but how great would it be if you could have a Freerunning game where you get to be Chase, David, Sebastien and all the other famous traceurs?
Amazing video Chase I love it you are such an inspiration for me as a freerunner. Btw could someone write what he's saying I don't understand all the words. Thanks
What do you think what they sad to the first person who sad he wanted to do double backflip huh ? Or a 720 backflip ? And now still there are new slips comming, and people still say it is impossible. So he is right :)
How is the scene at 0:44 done? they slowed the video down or what? How is it the train is still moving in the background? Is it supposed to be like this or what? Anyway love the video, great editing!
@lenroc52 That's not true. There are more rules to video games than you think. There is so much you can't master. You always have to play according to the rules of the game.
i said exactly the same... and last weekend i went trying to "train" in the corner of my street. i didnt even get hurt, but didnt learn more than 2 steps up. the next day, i went again, and did 3 steps vertically. the other day, i started horizontal wallruns, and now i can do 2 steps horizontal. im still trying to do the butterfly spin too, but its pretty difficult for me, im 14 years old and dont have much strength : /
Well, it's game over! You're got to think beyond walls, beyond boundries. Push your mind, to except that there are none, it's only impossible because you've been told it is. Hmm? You need to be a master of your environment, not a servant to it.

aerial twist
aerial with a 360 twist, landing on the same starting leg. pretty much an extremely inverted b-twist

@lostguru585
its one minute 20 sec which adds up to 80 sec not 90

@Murphator i've watched loads altough has been awhiel soo you might be right
that last line about knowing what button to press kinda made me cringe, but all in all this video is excellent!
did not you have video in this style with some instrumental of Lupe Faisco? I am sure there was some, but i dont know what title was it
@lenroc52 That's not true. There are more rules to video games than you think. There is so much you can't master. You always have to play according to the rules of the game.
that was so inspiring
IM=POSSIBLE
The A button.
Did he come up with the words? I don't think this clip showed all he was capable of but still "impossible"
i am jelous of the high speed camera and the editin was amazing
i said exactly the same... and last weekend i went trying to "train" in the corner of my street. i didnt even get hurt, but didnt learn more than 2 steps up. the next day, i went again, and did 3 steps vertically. the other day, i started horizontal wallruns, and now i can do 2 steps horizontal. im still trying to do the butterfly spin too, but its pretty difficult for me, im 14 years old and dont have much strength : /
the slip thing doesn't really make much sense to me, but other than that its an amazing video!!
Well, it's game over!
You're got to think beyond walls, beyond boundries.
Push your mind, to except that there are none, it's only impossible because you've been told it is.
