    It's crazy how you can see such a powerful engine go from a work horse to a monster deadhead. It would be absolutely cool if you could get permissions from NF to film the repairs. That would be very interesting. Great video

    I believe they use the idler cars for the extra braking capacity since the damaged locos are free-wheeling.

      You would think one locomotive would have enough braking power for the other one. Also, isn't it riskier to push them, as opposed to pulling them.

    Lead locomotive 4067 seems to be in good shape for what happened to it what an amazing cleanup effort !!

    Just wondering how they got air through those damaged locomotive’s to that flat car in front to release the brakes? Was this the train that blew through that precast beam also nice coverage!

      Yes it was and the hoses have a airpipe in the loco that goes from one end to the other

    They will be repaired and put back in service asap

      The white hose you can see is how they connected the air to the other car
