It is easy to understand that Vadstena was voted 9th most beautiful town in Sweden in that ranking 2019. So many nice small buildings in bright colors and all very small scale with those winding streets, that is great! And add to that the grand castle of Vadstena and then the coastline out to Vättern, it is a very alluring mix! And also in this video you caught Vadstena at prime Sweden summer time, with blue sky, everything green and lush.
I like the fact that they have the national archive inside the Vadstena Castle, that makes sense. Find a new purpose for the castle and use the locations for something that is needed and in this case also something related to history which suits the premises.
I need to go Vadstena one day!

Thanks for watching! Yes, Vadstena was a really pleasant surprise and I could certainly see myself visiting it again. As I mentioned towards the end, I could easily spend a lot more time just walking around more of those narrow streets..
And as often is the case when I look up facts after the walk, I realized that there are more old and interesting places I missed during this walk, such as Helgeandsgården, which was located really close to the main square.

Thanks for watching! I have to admit I'm not sure what parts of Skara are considered the upper Skara. I did visit the central parts and "fornbyn" a while back in this video: ruclips.net/video/EV9A6vfs-po/видео.html but there certainly are more places worth visiting in Skara.
