Here's a tip: cut the top hook off the old Bull Dawgs. That single hook prevents solid hook-ups. On the newer models, Musky Innovations eliminated the top hook, altogether.

really is hard to make that right judgement call: big lures definately can cast a mile but shows too much imperfection. small lures hard to cast far but more suitable to fool the fish but also thats only possible if the fish is close by and can actually see the damn thing.... lol things i learnt while trout fishing

Real feelings and real fishing when as it is at it´s best, congrats to some really nice pikes, my ridicules pb of 9.97 kg was taken on a 12 gram Abu reflex spinner, a post spawn female with a "humangus" head and 118 cm very thin body, if she just could have eaten a stickleback for breakfast i´d have a 10 kg to my name ha ha! Buttery Boi I do not believe you. Either where you live the pike are tiny or you’ve never caught pike ever. 10” is probably 1.5 lbs or less.

Axel G You can also catch big pike with a 6 cm bait, but with big baits the chance of a big pike increases enormously.
