'Unfair, unethical': US votes against move to give Palestinians UN membership

The United States has effectively prevented United Nations from recognizing a Palestinian state by casting a veto in the Security Council to deny Palestinian full membership.
The Palestinian Authority has described the US veto as ‘unfair’ and ‘unethical’.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces are withdrawing from Nuseirat in central Gaza and Gazans are also returning to Khan Younis, the strip’s second largest city.
