I tried getting to the starter from the top but I think I'll have to jack it up. I just want to check the connections because the starter isn't doing anything.

How do you enter that stud? Again with tube socket and extension? Can't even see the hole from the bottom ...

It's nuts indeed, but yes tube socket and short extention.
