Property next best, but only because of my location. Next gold… then market… then silver, worst investment. Might as well have had cash under the mattress.

A least you had real savings to save you in a time of crisis. I have had to do this several times and have been very grateful to have it at the time. It is painful at the time, but I've always been able to build it back up over time.

This is the rapture where born again Christians are suddenly removed from the world. It is an event that I believe is getting close based on what we see in the world now. After this, the 7 year tribulation will begin, which will be the worst time in human history. At the end of this time Jesus will return. Having worked at the Chicago board of trade for 13 years back in the day, I agree that you can manipulate the prices of things in trading, but it means nothing about the real world supply of what's being traded. I don't like this argument that the volume of trade has anything to do with the physical supply of precious metals. You can trade a bond, a stock, or a future as many times as you want. It's like trading the title to a car a million times. It may not make sense, but you only need one car to do it.

The real shame in all this is that Andy is correct in his analysis; yet, the biggest issue is that we've been waiting on this alleged reset for 30 years now. So it's close, but how close? Is it 6 months close? 2 years close? or 8 years close?
Schectman evoked FDR and revaluing gold, but nothing mentioned about what FDR did right before that. Does that imply that GLD will be revalued higher but not the second half of that 1933 equation, or.....
I love that giant showcase of gold certificate dollars with the picture of Roosevelt too. I think it would be really cool to have a historical representation of the evolution of money, paper and gold/silver, to show physical examples of just how shifty paper money has been over the history of America: Continental, Greenback, Gold certs, The red seal US note issued by JFK, as well as a sample of the Federal reserve notes.
I think my shares in Exxon will hold their value - any ownership of a company with essential commodities as the underlying asset will survive and thrive.

Just subscribed, and i am learning a lot. Your channel is the most informative. Rumor has it that Texas has 365 metric tons of gold, to back a new Texas based currency. It takes 15 years for a mining operation to come on line and produce regularly. This is real serious. Investing in mining stocks i think is not good or safe in this incoming tidal wave.

Naw any dealer worth his salt is hedged. Like being a bookie you never want to be the investor you just want the action and make the juice/commission. Smaller dealers that would be the case but large companies would make it a bad business model.
