Just ordered VW ID.3 ALCANTARA Center Console, Middle Interior Door Handle Covers
Great stuff…thanks for this, it is already bookmarked. :) I am waiting for my ID4 and next day I will order for sure. I hate that piano black things in every car. This is a great solution, because I don’t care what is under the mask and I can change it when I need or want. ✌️

The ID.3 center screen, at least in black versions, gets VERY HOT in the summer. Do you think it may be possible to design a reflective cover for the back of the screen to keep it a bit more cool?
PS: thanks to this video, I'm going to order alcantara covers for the interior door handles and center console.
@@danielardelian2 Yes the behind-screen organizer will be a solution for this I think, we will make one bright color so the heat will be more blocked. I really miss the sunglasses holder. Would be interesting to see how it looks.
It will be a organizer "box" hanging behind the main display with a special compartment for the sun glasses, you will also have some extra space for stuff like cards, coins etc 😀

Good stuff! I really like those carbon/matte interior pieces. ideally, car makers should allow many interior panels to be easily interchangeable through snap-fit connections for example. Personalisation of the interior is much needed. And that boot liner is super practical.
luckiy VW has planned to upgrade the interior in the next facelifing
I already have the door handle und center console covers. It should’ve come that way from VW…
That's a really nice looking car. I think I'd be worried about running such low profile tyres on the terrible roads we have here in the UK though
What I would want most of all is a soft layer that could fit the inside of the door pockets. Everything I put there makes a rattling noise that drives me mad. Too much hard plastic on this car.
Backseat cover under safety seats (with isofix holes) would be nice

It has to be a bit bigger to cover it. So there will be a little bump.
There are some high definition photos on the product page, I'd say it's nearly not noticeable

Do anyone know if the decorations for the center console on the id3 fits the id4 ? Because on the webpage there’s not many options for the id4 …. Yet …. 😊
No, does not fit. Follow them on instagram. They just reveiled it for the Id.4.

What about seat covers?
After all you will be wearing out the cloth in the seat or covering the seat with whatever you're drinking.
Watch out about fitting mud flaps, because with the ID4 the VW ones require wheel removal, drilling and mounting onto the plastic wheel arch trim which is poorly attached to the body panel.
We fitted the id3 ones without the wheel removed, what you need is a short screw driver which can fit in the space 😀

@@DaraM73 actually no drilling is required for our products, as during the design we make sure we can use the original holes to fix the mud flaps
Please tell me they do these for ID.4 ? Off to their website after this video. Do they also do a better software for ID.x?
We will have the center console cover for id4 in weeks, other practical stuff as floor mats are also on their way, the prototype test are passed last week 👍

Anybody know if it’s possible to obtain a retrofit 2nd boot (trunk) floor. I’m considering making one but it would be good to try for a proper one.
Yes, it is possible to retrofit, there are original kits out there. Ahw-shop (a german store) offers them.

You don't want to swap ID.3 to Tesla model Y? I am not happy whit my ID.3 Max st1 Whit this knowledge I should spend few more euros to get Model 3 SR+
Tesla is too harsh of a ride and steering is not my thing.
@@BatteryLife Yes, I agree. But Tesla is very strong in Consumption, Mobile app, Media system.... and way more... Minuses in my country: Service! ID.3 Have way more better lights (matrix led) Very difficult to chose!
