It’s amazing that Jokic can perform like this against two of the strongest defenders in the last decade. Team USA has the star power and I have them as my favorite for Gold, but it will be no easy task
Odd comparison but he's a 6'10 Charles Barkley. Obviously he is more skilled(less athletic) than Barkley(no disrespect) but at their height they outsize(d) players 3-4in taller consistently. It is crazy to think the DPOY is a mismatch to a player of the same position 😂😂😂😂

Davis carried that defense while Minnesota often had a *better* defense when Gobert hit the bench. Davis can often guard the pick and roll *by himself* and is an all around better perimeter defender
Id argue Davis is a better shot blocker and rin protector due to his length combined with his quickness.
Wemby is a better defender than AD in just about every metric of defense and is the best defender in the league, 100%. Jokic specifically has Wemby’s number until Wemby can bulk up enough to withstand and counter the physicality

Don't underestimate Serbia's Euroleague players, they are better than you think and can definitely play on the same court as the NBA guys. Same goes for Germany, France etc. Lessort is better than Coulibaly right now for example.

I've always thought Wemby is too light to really dominate - he needs to hang out with Zion and learn about his diet habits! Embiid put 70 points on Wemby in their first matchup, but he doesn't seem to think being super skinny is a problem.

CP3 can easily get 5 assists per game just by throwing lobs to Wemby.
Healthy Wemby plus one more piece and a bit of depth could actually make them contenders.

Giannis definitely didnt carry greece to paris. He was influencial for sure but his inability to shoot is key on how greece plays basketball because he can attack only on fast breaks. Greece may not have plenty of NBA players but has great euroleague ones. They play very smart together, they pass the ball very fast and dont rely on isolations. I think they have better chances to qualify than australia. If this team goes far it will happen because of its teamwork, every time that they have relied on isolation plays from giannis, didnt end well.
