People say Ronnie changed, he didn't he just grew from his childish and immature age, he went from "hardcore kid, to hair-metal obsessive to metalcore champion, to thug, to junkie, to rabble rouser, to rapper, to father, to mic-stand thrower, to his latest revolution" no one knows what or where he could go or be next, so I don't think people have the right to judge him for who he is. He's been through a lot. And even though everyone hates him nowadays and accuse him for things he didn't do. I still love him and his band they mean the world to me, I love them

I did a breakdown of the lyrics, If you want to look it up in this comment section.
***** "stabbed you in the back and kicked you out" To my understanding, Ronnie was forced into rehab due to his drug addictions and the band decided to move on with their career rather than wait x months for their vocalist to get back on his feet. Also, about me saying Ronnie was "egotistical, that was more specifically in response to the lyric "You'll see, it was always me", which to me basically interprets to "I AM the band. You are NOTHING without me.", which, to me, sounds very egotistical. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying he's an asshole, or an untalented twat, or anything. I do like both Escape the Fate (with Ronnie) and Falling in Reverse, mostly due to Ronnie's singing voice.
Honestly, I wish i could somehow time travel to when I was 12 and i first listened to this. I somehow got myself into rock music, and i just obsessed over eveything overnight. 70's rock, 80's and 90's rock, and then 2000's rock. I wish I could redicover all of this again.
I didn't know there was someone else out there that also thinks this lol. The reason why they are similar is because with Ozzy, you can go back through all his old stuff and find gem after gem after gem. Same with Ronnie. Endlessly creating awesome songs over a 20 year period, without riding out a couple of hits, like most bands do.
I remember watching their videos every day when the album first came out :P I still like them tho but I can't wait to see what will the 3rd album be like (:
***** The song can be about Ronnie, but that shouldn't be why they're shouting his name. And I've never been to a concert, so I can safely say he has a big ego.
***** It still seems egotistical to me. Like, they should have some other band member names in there, or just screams like "WOOOO", "I LOVE YOU GUYS", and "LET'S GOOO!!!!!". I feel bad for them because the lead singers always get the attention, but without the others the singer would be practically nothing. My original comment was meant jokingly though, just to point it out and poke at it. Technically satire, but now I feel a little bit more serious about it because it seems so absurd and unnecessary to me. I can see the 'Falling in Reverse' chant, it just needs its own beat. "Fall-ing(dip in pitch)-in-(raise back to original)Reverse" .
its about how etf fucked him over and kicked him out. He thought they kicked him out for a different reason than they did. He was pissed off about it. Most of the songs on the album were related to hating etf and either Craig (the singer) or Max (the bassist)
+Shane Sousley & when he says "One day they'll see, it was always me" Relates to the fact that etf only got big because of Ronnie. Their potential is crippled without Ronnie.
No shit mr detective -.-'' the whole song is a reference to his time with Escape The Fate... the part when he says "This War Is Mine" is a reference to "This War Is Our" from ETF
The entire album hits different now due to the fact this was a break up album talking ab his emotions after leaving Escape the Fate hell he even mentions them in the song can’t believe I’m just now realizing this 😂😂
@@inaja1915 I can’t think of any particular OP it reminds me of, but the way the song builds up as well as the overall sound is reminiscent of some rock-style anime openings like The World (Death Note) or Guren No Yumiya (AOT). It just has this “ready for a fight” energy that I think would be fitting for some action-packed show. If anyone can direct me to more songs like this, I’d be grateful.
I feel like this song was a attack to escape the fate for what they did to him he say's "you're what i started now disregarded" and he also says "this war is mine" referring to the song escape the fate made "This war is ours" not to mention in his lyrics he say's "my fate is something i can't escape" in another words escape the faith. idk but thats my opinion.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying he's an asshole, or an untalented twat, or anything. I do like both Escape the Fate (with Ronnie) and Falling in Reverse, mostly due to Ronnie's singing voice.
falling in reverse is my fav band and will always
Honestly, I wish i could somehow time travel to when I was 12 and i first listened to this. I somehow got myself into rock music, and i just obsessed over eveything overnight. 70's rock, 80's and 90's rock, and then 2000's rock. I wish I could redicover all of this again.
The scene's very own Dave Mustaine! Proud to be a Ronnie fan since Situations came out.
King of the Scene…
2025 gang we out here early. ❤
5 years since my emo stage and yet years later ronnie is still the one who keeps me alive at my lowest points
This song right here is fantastic
Whos watching 2024!!!
Me
m e
I'm watching in 1987
Me , gotta return to this masterpiece
❤❤❤❤
My emo phase passed a long time ago but it's fun to reminisce on the songs I listened to when I thought I had a crappy life 😂😂
same xD
But this song isn't even emo.... It's just him talking about being a badass.
Brayden Fath yeah but many people in their emo phase would listen to it
Brayden Fath I don't think you know what metal is
Bleach What does that genre even have to do with this conversation??? We're talking about songs being Emo.
I'm 15 million of these views, you all need to step it up.
Escape the Fate "This war is ours"
Falling in Reverse "This war is mine"
I guess Ronnie can't escape his fate
Caleb Shouse Love the pun.
Eclapsed
you can leave emo but emo never leaves you...
Why is no one talking about that kid at 3:28? He is amazing/
+Mark Never Sleeps wordddddd what if he gets moshed to death?
likely because he didnt barily get much of the lyrics. and he was just a pick from the stage.
+Daniel Campos ,
I was 9 when I first listened to this! Oh boy, how time flies ❤️
RONNIE NEW MEMBER OF THE SHIELD HAHAHAH
LMAO
ROFLMFAO
YES! Omfg
lmfao this is awesome
LOL XD
damn man still listening to this song ...god tier
I don't understand how rock fans can be so calm, but then like One Direction's fans are so chaotic and crazy.
; sanchezz its because we get it all out before the show on the car ride there ;)
Heavy and settle at the same time. Could Listen to this all day, and Id never get bored.
3:08 his smile melts my black non existent heart🖤
Ronnie is like the Ozzy Osborne of the emo/alternative rock scene
Nice analogy 😂😂
@@gabrielnithsdale4728 Im serious listen to the beginning of Superhero and you'll see what i mean
someone said he was the "kanye west of the scene" and I think about that a lot
Emo music was created back in the 80s. 🤦🏻♂️
This song is gonna be my jam for calming down when im in a panic attack
I freaking love FIR!! Their music makes me happy!
"Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie!" What about the other band members????
this is the song that took after leaving prison and dedicated to his former band -.-
So, what does that mean for the crowd shouting his name?
***** The song can be about Ronnie, but that shouldn't be why they're shouting his name. And I've never been to a concert, so I can safely say he has a big ego.
***** does the audience even know if they're playing this song? Or are they scripted for the purpose of this music video?
Ronnie looks like an emo ghostbuster
lol xD
Alex Homes how??!
+Jessica Simpson 0:47 sweaty emo pointy ghostbuster
I didn't mean it in a bad way lol
lσl
Lmfao “I have learned that my fate is something I can’t escape” back thence this was like a rap diss lmfao 😂😂😂 had to be there
if you get the lyrics and know what its referenced to you would be amazed of how intelligent who ever wrote this song
+Tyler Durden have you heard DIYLF? Ronnie is VERY VERY smart
?
It's about how he used to be in Escape the Fate right?
its about how etf fucked him over and kicked him out.
"I have learned that my fate is something I can not escape."
"i have learned that my fate
is something i cant escape
so!"
Could this be a reference to his time with Escape The Fate?
No shit mr detective -.-'' the whole song is a reference to his time with Escape The Fate... the part when he says "This War Is Mine" is a reference to "This War Is Our" from ETF
I was only asking a question dumbass -.- If you wanna hate come and do it in my face instead of behind your safe computer.
It was awesome seeing him live up close! Can't wait to see you again!!! ❤❤❤
Remember being a freshman and jamming the fuck out to this song. Now I'm 21 and it's so nostalgic.
The entire album hits different now due to the fact this was a break up album talking ab his emotions after leaving Escape the Fate hell he even mentions them in the song can’t believe I’m just now realizing this 😂😂
Their concert was so amazing XD
Can't believe they did this song. They're so awesome!!
Surprisingly, he wasn't rude to me and they sounded pretty good live.
Did you go yesterday? I did, I loved it. His security guard was a dick and chased me off before I could get his autograph.
I JUST FOUND IT THAT HE WAS THE BLACK GUY IN BLACKLIST OHMYGOD
Right!!! 😂😜
How do you get anymore Godly then this
2024 and this still slaps hard
Can confirm
2019? Still this is the best song for me
It was ALWAYS RONNIE! Very glad he vindicated this song.
Sounds like an anime opening, love it!
bro ive always thought this too, and i dont even watch anime. So idk how ive made that comparison. I wonder which anime it sounds similar to
@@inaja1915 I can’t think of any particular OP it reminds me of, but the way the song builds up as well as the overall sound is reminiscent of some rock-style anime openings like The World (Death Note) or Guren No Yumiya (AOT).
It just has this “ready for a fight” energy that I think would be fitting for some action-packed show.
If anyone can direct me to more songs like this, I’d be grateful.
I feel like this song was a attack to escape the fate for what they did to him he say's "you're what i started now disregarded" and he also says "this war is mine" referring to the song escape the fate made "This war is ours" not to mention in his lyrics he say's "my fate is something i can't escape" in another words escape the faith. idk but thats my opinion.
i love u....................................................................................................................................
still listening 2019 , I'm 30 but this band makes me young like before , Sream and shout love it
i will bro ,
Came here when I was 15 and I keep coming back here every now and then
Im 23 now though
Good music is good music. Theres no age for certain types, otherwise whatever the hell billie joe armstrong is doin now would be deemed immature a loooong ass time ago
Did anyone else notice that Ronnie is wearing a bulletproof vest in this?
I remember this vividly ! "spilled my blood for youuuu!.......one too many times!" Highschool years
Still one of the best songs you guys have put out for sure!!!
