- This is the story of twin sister residents of a mining town. One always brings good fortune, the other nothing but bad luck. When the residents have a chance to all get rich, the bringer of bad luck should start feeling very nervous.

I see your comment is old and wonder if you still listen to these, but I also love the art work.
You can tell they've probably looked long and hard to find fitting pictures. I'll admit to sometimes choosing an episode by going off the picture but just like a book, it's not always an indication of a great episode. That's down to the writer's and voice actor's...
Great story and the wonderful Fred Gwynne! That was a self-serving example of Scientific Method, completely biased, not science based. People should not wish for success based on the downfall/ruin of others. Careful what you ask for. Enjoyed 9/15/2022.

A Big stretch to equate Lucifer with a poor lonely woman Janice Miller. She was open to attention from anyone, since she rarely received any and likely knew what others thought of her. Thus her seeming isolation in town. Even her small house was far removed from everyone else’s homes.
