    Hello people, I was thinking of buying the endr 3 v3 plus or the K1, but I just saw an offer for the FLASHFORGE ADVENTURER 4. I didn't know that brand or the printer, anyone who has it or what do you think of the 3 that I mentioned, which one would be chosen? They are selling it to me cheaper than the plus and the K1, thanks

    I’ve seen so many mixed reviews but I went ahead and bought one. Just because of the camera and Wi-Fi it was hard to find another one that had both those for the same price. I figure any issues I could work out

      It’s a two part filter. Hepa one side, activated charcoal on the other. It should theoretically filter also some toxic gases. But no scientific tests 😉

    So I was looking at this as a potential first 3D printer but having seen lots of people complain about the baseplate calibration being a pain and them having to calibrate it repeatedly its starting to put me off. I do however like the enclosure and everything ready to go type setup. Can you or someone recommend some alternatives to this one that is in the same configuration that doesn't have these faults ?

    • @dannyburton9919
      @dannyburton9919 Год назад +2

      you should do calibration checks often anyway because issues arise with all printers. Constantly checking is a good habit to have is all I'm saying

    Review was good. His negative issues seem to be a little insignificant to me and saw it as being a bit knit-picky. Noise doesn't bother me and not a purchase factor but I did find the awareness and suggestions for the sticking issues to be extremely helpful.

    Based on the print quality in this review, mentioned problems, might as well spend 2.5x and get Qidi I-Fast or Qidi X-CF Pro for 2x which appears to be an order of magnitude better.

    Oh god, see your build plate. You must've not set the levelling correctly!
    Your extruder has been scraping your build plate crazily, I had that problem when I first got my adventurer 3.
    Which caused a clicking problem and destroyed the build plate, minimal damage to the extruder.

    • @Crosslink3D
      @Crosslink3D  2 года назад +1

      You are correct, I scratched the build plate with improper leveling. Unfortunately, that can happen quite easily on this printer but I replaced it now with a PEI coated sheet, which I will show in a new video soon!

    There is a huge risk of loosing all your money and inheriting a huge pile of issues. I guess the % might be low for all I know but if you aren't lucky and end up in that 10% or whatever it is, your just screwed unless you live in China. No way to return it nor are they going to replace it and I've yet to see or hear an offer to fix anything even with their limited warranty claims don't seem to be existing. So no matter how much video you take and how long you spend explaining the issue asking for help daily since it hasn't worked since it arrived it never will! It's like an apple computer they don't want you working on it so you can't. But apple has a store in every city on the planet, almost if not. Not sure how I expected this to go but I don't think I ever thought it would end up this bad and loosing out on 1000$ I barely had to begin with to start a new venture that has sadly been a disappointment or better yet a disaster! I've wasted countless hours of my life I'll never get back which at this point I'd of paid a 1000$ just to get back seeing how it's been hrs daily since February and I'm no closer to printing a flexilizard than the day I unboxed it. I do remember I was excited at one point and amazed at how fast it melted into disparity.

  • @techtalk7018
    @techtalk7018 2 года назад

    It's really not much bigger or that big at all. Only small to medium prints mostly. Mine was a grand from flash forge and never actually printed still won't. 100s of emails with aftersales just to realize no one's actually going to help me besides offering firmware to update even if it's already been done. Or asking if the nossle is clogged even tho I took videos with 3 brand new nossles and showing me unload and reload the filament and dripping out. Hrs daily for over a month literally consumed my life trying to fix it just to realize I wasn't sent one to review I paid for it so it's always been an oven sized paper weight. Wasted opportunity i should of chose better. Like qidi max even cr10 max. And prob would of save money or ended up with better quality machine. I saw 2 other companies with the exact same printer for sale voxelmaker maker bot. Idk if they were made better but exact same machine down to the firmware used to print.

    Good Lord man, you start off with how it's so massive in the box blah blah. How about it's already put together? Did you mention that? No. The camera isn't as good as a webcam...yeah, no crap...it's not supposed to be.

    Great!! Another i3 clone in an enclosure... If chinese would've put some extra effort cloning let's say, any coreXY motion system, this would've been a printer worth considering. Nice honest review though..

    • @B-DINO
      @B-DINO 2 года назад

      The difference is that this comes fully-built, has an air filtered enclosure, easy-use touchscreen, etc. Lots of things that don't come standard with the I3. If you were to upgrade an I3 to offer what this one is advertised to be able to do then you'd double the price of an I3. That being said; the adventure 4 seems to have fallen short of expectation from quality of appliance, quality of prints, ease of use, and overall filament versatility.

    Nice detailed review, I’ve got to say I’m disappointed with the noise levels also, shouldn’t have printers this noisy in 2021, it’s not difficult to get silent steppers, a simple but massive mistake by flashforge in my opinion.
    I had hoped it would be a plug and play printer for me as I’ve had enough of messing about with printers to get them to work properly however unfortunately this has not been the case with my adv4, quality and stringing issues no matter what I try. I can’t recommend this printer at the price it is, I wouldn’t pay half the amount.

    Nice review. The enclosed printers like the Flashforge models are also a good option for schools and clubs where open frame printers are not encouraged. My wife's daily driver is a Flashforge Finder I bought her back in 2018 and that's been a great little printer. She's not into building or upgrading, she just wants to turn the printer on and print something. The Flashforge printers seem well suited for that type of enthusiast.
