I am really glad the wii community makes running emulators so much easier now.
i have an snes 9x emulator on my wii and none of my games run slow, maybe 1 or 2 run slightly fast but i really don't have any problems with it otherwise.
Kaizo Mario is a modification of copyrighted software, so yes, it is illegal if you don't own Super Mario World. Not that I care, since I have every single game for snes and nes on my computer. Which I of course own physical copies of all of them.
@2710Jess The maximum. It's been two years, emulators have really improved since then.

Right, but if you load your own SNES emulator onto the Wii, you've got access to every SNES game ever released - most of which will never make it to the VC - and even fan mods, fan translations, and homebrew roms that will DEFINITELY never make it to the VC.

Yeah, it's only a save file, you'll be fine. THey also have a wii channel hack that loads a channel (like news channel) and then you can run homebrew!
You dont even have to buy Zelda. Just rent it, run the hack, then download the Homebrew Channel on your wii. You can get a wad installer/uninstaller for the channel.
lol the games wasn't slow but the music was a lil. This is soo awesome, just need to get twilight princess (Wii version).
@Fireproofretz A ten-year-old PC has more processing power than a Wii. What'd you expect?

Why is the music and frame rate a little slower then the original?
I love Snes, and I actually have an emulator in this PC, however, I don´t like to play those games a great deal because using keyboards as joystick is pretty awful
wii hacking has come a LOOONG way in two years. wii homebrew is the way to go now. no more twilight hacking.
This looks very promising, but for now it's running better on the Gamecube.
yea, me too... I bought it new and played for like 40 minutes then never touched it again... months and months later I sell it, that was 3 weeks ago...
I tried this, but when i click on the game to play on the emulator it goes to an error and doesn't laod the game. does anyone know how to fix this?
Mario All Stars was running at a slow speed but F Zero was running at full speed. Any reason why that is happening?
Cool, but I wonder why they aren't running at full speed. Wasn't the GC snes9x running at 60fps? Also, is there a frameskip set?

Even if you don't update, it will do it automatically when you buy a new game. I hear they already have a new working hack but I don't care, I can pay for the games and I don't want to have to fight patches every month or so.

Nobody cares that this is illegal, and it doesn't make any permanent changes to your Wii, so there's no way this particular emulator setup could possibly damage your system.
And as for the last part, you're just putting words in his mouth. He was clearly suggesting that you should be able register your games and download them, not stick them in the console.

well, i WOULD pay to play majora's mask, earthbound, super smash bros, secret of mana, terranigma, street fighter alpha, goldeneye, conker's bad fur day, lufia 2, super mario kart, yoshi's island, banjo kazooie&tooie, dk64, mario party...
Do your roms end in .smc? I had the same issue and relabeling them to end in .smc fixed it.
i sure hope Nintendo doesn't fix this, its fun and its better for the consumer

wow... that was one of the worst frame rates ever... or so it appeared. It was like playing mario in slow motion.
However F-zero looked to me at a fairly decent speed compared to the original.
I think I'll save myself the trouble and blow the dust off the old SNES.
seems they arent running at full speed yet but still very good job and im sure itll soon be running at full speed considering theres no lack of power to run them as its obvious from the VC lol
Can't believe PSP emulate it faster than WII.
I would use an emulator for games that aren't on the VC.

Do you need to mod your wii at all? Or is everything cool once you have the data on the SD card and stuff...

I just tired it out, fuck yes it works. Finally I´ll be able to play Mario RPG (we dont get it in Europe) and all the awesome Square RPGs.

you can find the roms almost ANYWHERE, youre kinda...uneducated, sorry if that offended you.Go search on google "snes roms" and a WHOLE bunch of sites will appear that have roms you can download.

Lmao, your Wii is a fail, Instead of using the Twilight Princess to use the eumlaytor, it would be easyer just to Put the Homebrew Channel on your Wii's Menu.
