    I get about 30-35 miles using first “ gear” and light use of the throttle all on flat ground. I bought it for its simplicity and good construction. Replaced the pedals first, seat next with a suspension seat post. Otherwise no issues. One note, the bolts are all super torqued! Use a socket wrench to loosen the rear wheel bolts and tighten back on with the supplied wrench. You will never get that wheel off in the field if you dont.

    good bike. Use it to go four miles to school and run errands. lack of suspension sucks on bumpy roads so you really gotta stand on the pedals from time to time.
    i have to go up and down a bridge over a freeway and i don't mind the single speed. I use MTB with gears and i know gears can help but it's not a big deal.
    in fact, the mid drive motor puts inhuman stress on the chain and i think being able to shift gears wouldn't be worth the price and maintenance.
    I'm considering getting a cheap suspension seatpost in the future

      I fitted my Rad Mission with the suspension seatpost sold by Rad. It made a big difference in comfort. Try it if you haven’t already. Amazon sells the same post.

    Had this bike for a little over a year now,, I'm still liking it. If you want a simple ebike without the fatty tires and not looking into performance then this yours. I mainly keep it power level 1 or 2 and the most I got with distance is 80km with 2 or or 3 blocks left on my power. Which means I can prolly jack up another 10 to 20km depending on the trail. 8.5/ my only flaw I had to buy my own kick stand and had to change seat saddle.

    I’ve ordered one, love the simplicity. Worst thing is the wait time for the bike to arrive.
    Been waiting 4 weeks already, like you say E-bikes are taking off this summer. 😎

      @Sleepy_Rainy_Day Hey, do you remember how much the assembly cost?

    • @Yowzoe
      @Yowzoe 2 года назад

      @Sleepy_Rainy_Day thanks. The Seattle Rad shop charges $149, and includes a tuneup sometime after 3 months.
      Since I wrote the above I've looked at som reddit posts and some videos, and I now think I can do it myself.
      But ty for your quick reply!

      probably go for a bike that can have a basket in the back like a radrunner or lectric xp

      @@andypark08 I currently do uber eats right now with my regular bicycle, i have a thermal backpack i use to deliver it. The bike i currently have has multiple gears and suspension, so i was worried that not having the suspension, or multiple gears would be an issue.

    Honestly I have found that having more than one gear on a bike actually makes it more difficult to use. In order to go uphill uning a lower gear one has to pedal faster, which for me is a difficult transition. Whenever I own a bike with multiple speed options it rarely leaves first gear. If I come across a hill that is impossible to go up in first gear, it is easier for me to walk the bike up hill instead of switching gears. That said, this might just be a good ebike for someone like me.

    Of course you went with the flat gray - because you get to keep it. You video IS influenced by sponsorship no way around it. Thumbs down
